Beyonce: I Wish I Was as Big as Jennifer Hudson

Beyonce Knowles set out to clear up rumors of jealousy over the attention her "Dreamgirls" co-star Jennifer Hudson has been receiving. Her plan may have backfired.
Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Hudson During a recent interview, a humble Beyoncé said she "knew that the character that I played wasn't the star ... I'm already a star. I already have nine Grammys. Everyone knows I can sing."

Beyoncé definitely belts out some beautiful melodies, but when she said, "I wish I could have gained 20 pounds and played Effie," we hear the flip side of her tune. Although most of Beyoncé's comments seemed a little backhanded, she did go on to give props to Hudson by saying, "She did incredible."

This interview, meant to defuse the rumored feud, could rekindle the diva dis.

47. Gotta agree with the ones who say Jennifer can sing better then Beyonce. Plus, how humble she is( cough). I'm already a star, I have nine grammy's and everybody already knows I can sing. And she wants to prove she can act. Seems to me she pretty much keeps playing herself. What's she playing in this movie. A lead singer of a girl group. Sound familar, Beyonce.

49. FOR THE RECORD...Tmz did not misquote Beyonce. I have heard the same quote from numerous media outlets including the Daily 10 on the E Channel so...it is just the true Beyonce coming out. Those girls from the original Destiny's Child wanted to stay in the group, they just wanted new management. They indicated it in a letter sent to Mr. Knowles. In turn, Beyonce and her dad traveled to a few cities and found replacements and filmed the video "Say My Name" a song written by the other girls and put two new chicks in it. The original two found out when the video was aired that they had been booted. This was all confirmed in an interview with Beyonce and her parents on a television special. She is a phony, overrated singer. I have attened live shows and she along with the tracks just like Ashlee Simpson and others. She is pissed that Jennifer is outshining her and it has shown by her comments and body language during Oprah and other interviews. As for ass, she is more hips than ass, Jlo has ass...

54. FOR THE RECORD...Tmz is reporting the comment accurately. It has been reported on a number of media outlets so...sorry to those actually trying to defend what was said. It has also been very obvious from interviews that she is mad that she is not the center of attention in the movie. Beyonce is a BEYOTCH! First of all, she sings along with tracks during live performances (I have been there and heard for myself). She also is more hip than ass, JLO has ass...okay. Also she has no integrity. She made millions, but what goes up must come down. She stabbed her former bandmates in back several times. Before I begin, all facts have been confirmed in interviews from bandmates and Beyonce herself. The original two DC members wrote a letter trying to fire her dad as manager but indicated they wanted to stay in the group. So what does BEYOTCH and her dad do, they go searching for replacements behind the girls backs and then film the video Say My Name and the girls find out they are no longer in the group when they see the video on tv with new members singing a song they write and recorded! Then, when the member Farrah got some sense and left, her dad and mom pushed her into the spotlight in the front. Notice originally that Latoya was pretty much the lead. Then, most recently, Kelly Rowland had an album in the process of debuting and Daddy Knowles pushed her album back so that Beyonce could drop an album and he did not want competition. So, Kelly's album has been pushed back. The only reason they got together for their last hurrah is because the singer Brandy talked Kelly into it. That is an overview of what a BEYOTCH she is. Folks are just finally starting to see it.

58. It cracks me up that some of these Beyonce freaks call people "haters". This is the reason she is what she is: her annoying dad had her practicing stupid dance moves and singing before she hit her teens. He and Joe Simpson should hang out and compare stories. 60. Beyonnce, from "Star to Star" let me tell you something girl.....I finally figured out why you were always in the middle and center of all those "Destiny Child" photos. Every single time, there you were, smack in the middle of each and every (with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions) picture. Personally, I didn't watch the season of American Idol with Jennifer Hudson, but a friend of mine in NYC raved about her, so I YouTubed her....and then got your "Listen". On Oprah you turned that song out! Jennifer does her own version, "Am I am Telling You"....you both are great, and now that Jennifer's signed on with Clive Davis...well if he turns her out and she keeps it up...see a new star on the horizon. And it will be her turn to be in the middle of every picture.
