50. This has gone totally beyond infantile! If the attendees were to avoid heckling the comedians, it would be the true comedy that it is. A good laugh for the night. It is totally understandable if a comedian were to become outraged or deliberately be mean to an attendee FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER, YES they should definitely be banned. People need to get back to reality and learn some manners. If I deliberately bump someone, I would expect that someone to bump me back twice as hard than I bumped them; therefore, I do not deliberately bump into people. I love comedy and hope to continue attending comedy shows without them being banned in the world because a few people are so freggin sensitive.

51. Again I will say... It is only a big deal because Michael Richards went on a tirade to people in the audience because he was ticked off, he didn't say these things as part of his act...

Comparing what he did to Dave Chapelle , George Lopez and Chris Rock is not the same thing. They have made fun of their own races as well as other during a comedy routine, none of them have gone totally bonkers on an audience member spewing racial hate, that's freaking difference.

And to the black person who says racism is so 90's, WTF are you talking about? I have never experienced racism before or after this time... I went on an interview in a predominately white area/business... One of the questions I was asked during my interview was how do I deal with racism on a daily basis. I was like I haven't had to deal with it until this very moment. WTF did it have to do with me answering a freaking phone in an office... That was recently not in the 90's...

52. Should the N-word be banned? I don't know. Maybe. This misses the point. The question we should be discussing is: Is it okay for a comedian to go on a racist tirade against customers in a comedy club? These debates are losing sight of the point that Michael Richards didn't feature an act with liberal, but perhaps questionable use of a racial epithet. He attacked patrons.

53. Pat, a heckler should not have racial slurs thrown at them... I'm quite sure Richards could have clowned them as we call, made fun of the in a humorous way. Hecklers have been around since the beginning of stand-up comedy.

He could have had the guys thrown out of the club if that were the case... Secondly this isn't the first time Richards has done something like this, he also made anti-semitic slurs towards audience members at another one of his shows months before. Richards admitted this, so it's not just some made up gossip story...

56. More importantly, Richards went against some individuals race, not necessarily the whole group. Not to mention Gibson, who is suffering his faux pas, BTW. Wrong? Sure. But why the silence for that guy calling for the extermination of a whole fricken group based on their skin color? And you know...the color isn't black.

60. if it's okay for them to say "your not funny CRACKER" it's okay for him to shoot back and call them n*ggars. They say it to each other all the time and I am not even white or black. BTW Kramer did try to apologize after the show and they did not want anything to do with him, but that obviously changed when Gloria Alred called them.

it real sad that in this day and age it is so one sided. GET OVER IT!!
