92. how could it not be at least partially the parents fault?? yes we have to give our children a certain amount of freedom but that doesn't include going to an unsupervised party late at night where there's alcohol being served at 15. the parents will of course try to put all of the blame on lane cuz they don't want to accept their own guilt for not protecting their children.

What he did was wrong and yes he should be punished, but I still say that the 3 kids did NOT have to get in the car with him. They are still in some way responsible for their actions as well. Yes, Lance was driving drunk, but if you know someone is drinking at a party, why would you get in the car with them? That makes you as much of a dumbass as they are. The 3 teens were dumb to get in the car with him. Its sad that the kid died and all, but come on.

103. TFB!!! Go cry to some who gives a rat's a$$! He was in the church for 15 mins? I'm sure that family members have stayed with the girls since the accident! Not just for some lame 15 mins. He's just freakin' scared, nothing more nothing less!

I've lost 2 family members & 4 friends to people drinking & driving. No, none of them had been drinking it was always the other car! It is a senseless way to loose someone you love.

Personally, I'm sick & tired of these celebs getting caught driving under the influence and NOT A DAMN THING IS DONE ABOUT IT!!!

P.S. Lane, if you really want to impress someone...call for a limo! YOU SUCK...probably some cellmates in prison!

105. This is just a PR stunt arranged by his lawyer. Even if he was truly crying... great he killed someone. I would not get away with manslaughter if I broke out in tears a few days after at my church. He wants to win the public over through self pity. Do not pity the child killing pedophile.

Would you want him partying with your kids? I'm a high school student in the Los Angeles area and I think the man's a creep for trying to hit on girls close to my age, let alone buy them alcohol. Maybe after he repents, he'll grow up and so will the people who take his side. How can you condone or agree with drinking and driving, supplying alcohol to minors, or trying to get out of your punishment for killing a minor.

The police are not giving Garrison special treatment and neither should you. Even if you like him on a TV show, he most likely isn't a great guy. "Oh let me show off to some teenagers with my big land rover that goes fast while I'm drunk from taking shots of grey goose. Whoops! There's a concrete island and a tree!" Obviously he was too drunk to talk that much sense.

I feel bad for Vahagn Setian's family, his friends, and their community. This kid V must of been a great guy and no, not an illegal immigrant like some of you have said. Please do not get fooled from the lawyer's rhetoric, it's basically nonsense.
