Beyonce 32? It's Just a Bad Dream, Girl

The Internet has been ringing with the alarming news that Beyonce Knowles is 32 years old, and not, as she's claimed all along, 25. TMZ did a little digging -- and we've got the definitive answer.

Celeb gossip site MediaTakeOut.com claimed earlier this week to have a document from the Texas Department of Health proving that the pop princess was born September 4, 1974, making her 32. But an authoritative source in Texas tells TMZ that the authenticity of that document could not be confirmed, that the document wasn't an official birth record, and that 1974 is definitely not Beyonce's b-day.

We also put in a call to the High School of the Visual and Performing Arts in Houston, which Beyonce attended, and they told us that she was a student from 1997-2000. If she was born in 1974, that would mean she attended high school from age 23 on. Beyonce might be gullible (at least enough to be ambushed by PETA), but high school at 23? We don't think so.

Beyonce's rep said she had "no idea" how the faux-age rumor began or why it was disseminated. Mediatakeout.com says that they have "thoroughly inspected" the posted document and that it looks "very real."

Am the only one that thinks that when they started the then Destiny Child's group that Beyonce had the intention of ousting the the group once the became famouse? because every time you turn around the had a "NEW" person in the group. The only person that stayed was the stupid one Kelly, But why ? she couldn't make it on her own, and by the why she ia older then she says, some women don't like to give their right age hmmm!

93. I am not a Beyonce fan but everyone knows the only black "celebrities" that have lied about their age are Gary Coleman and Emmanuel Lewis and we all know why that is. For that matter I can't even think of a white celebrity who has. Who cares you IDIOTS!

95. Got that right KFC. How about that last record bombing Crystal? Could it be that people are getting bored with this no-talent broad? I'd start looking for another idol if I were you. Perhaps someone like Christina A., who has an incredible voice, writes many of her own songs, and doesn't feel the need to exploit animals in order to make money from a hideous clothing line. (Plus, Christina is much prettier)

Personally, I don't care how old Beyonce is. I think she is an amazing performer and I hope her star shines for YEARS to come.

98. In reference to all the haters so quick to ingest the latest dirt,try thinking for yourselves for once. This has to be one of the most unsubstantial stories I've come accross as of late. Fine, you obviously feel a great deal of disdane towards this apparently talentless pre-fab pop diva, but is shouldn't take you more than a few seconds to come to the conclusion that this story holds no merit. Say bout her what you like, but come the fu%$ on! She is not, nor does she look 32! I'm not even a fan of hers nor could I tell you the title of her latest album, or about its alleged failure, I just call it as I see it. And I see one hell of a fabricated rumor dangling from a string with thousands of mindless drones waiting in anticipation for its confirmed accuracy. Who the hell cares!

99. A co-worker of mine from Chicago went to high school with Michelle Williams, the 3rd member of Destiny's Child. They have claimed that she is only a year older than Beyonce, 26, when she is actually 31, so who knows what 'ol girl's (pun intended) real age is.

103. Beyonce is 25. She went to high school with my friends in Houston and some of them even carpooled with her to class as a child. I am 25 and she is most certainly our age, not in her 30's.
