Bindi Irwin: Wild Child

Just three months since the death of her father, Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter's eight-year-old daughter, Bindi, says she's "...doing pretty good. We're battlin' on."

In an interview with "Good Morning America," the ever-adorable Bindi, with mom Terri at her side, revealed that snakes are her favorite animal. "They're really nice creatures once you get to know them." We'll take your word for it, Bin.

As for critics who think that Bindi is too young to be around wildlife, Terri says that the pigtailed princess would rather ride elephants than be cooped up in suburbia. The thought of living in an apartment with a goldfish made Bindi chime in, "I don't think I could cope." No Nemo fan, she.

Bindi, who called Steve "the best dad in the world," is continuing her father's work by bringing her animal-loving tour to the U.S. next month. Hannah Montana, watch out!

166. Hey racer, you have got to be the biggest hypocrit on this blog. How dare you talk that way. That child is doing what she loves. I don't think you could ask for a better mother for her, I would never let my child around another animal ever, and that would make my child sad. I mean please you are one to talk if someone wanted your poor offspring for tv you would jump at the chance. And just by your mouth I can tell you would spend all there money on yourself. But we won't worry no-one will ever want you or your children on tv, please spare us all. And some of you people please try and remember that AOL is picked up down under and Bindi might just read some of your nasty comments.

167. I have nothing but admiration for this courageous little girl. her parents and the way she was raised. The way she has accepted and is coping with the tragic death of her father should set an example for all of us as to how to handle ourselves when tragedy strikes. As for her working with wild animals, she has been doing that since the day she was born and is in less danger with them than she would be in any major city with all the dangers therein.

169. How sad it is that some people have nothing to do but degrade others. They need to look at their selves, and their accomplishments in life before they comment on others.

171. Why don't you mean spirited pieces of crap all get together and bombard each other with all your negativity and leave this innocent child alone! How unhappy you must be with your own lives and looks to resort to talking such trash about a child who has probably made more of difference in her short life than any of you. What are you doing with your lives other than stealing decent people's air??

176. Looks are only skin deep, any child is precious and adorable until they grow up and act like you and care what someone looks like on the outside and not the inside good thing no one looked at Julia Roberts baby pictures or Brooke Shields get a grip and enjoy children instead of judging them

179. Can't people just leave this little girl alone? I have to agree on the earlier statement that it would be nice if she could be allowed to just be a little girl right now and have the cameras off her. But, maybe this is what she needs to do to help her through her grief??She wants to continue her Daddy's work. She has shown the World how smart and devoted she is to her Daddy's work. Insulting her with ugly comments is just wrong! She's just a little girl- what's wrong with people who think it's ok to bash a little girl who just lost her Daddy?? Get a Life people!
