Bindi Irwin: Wild Child

Just three months since the death of her father, Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter's eight-year-old daughter, Bindi, says she's "...doing pretty good. We're battlin' on."

In an interview with "Good Morning America," the ever-adorable Bindi, with mom Terri at her side, revealed that snakes are her favorite animal. "They're really nice creatures once you get to know them." We'll take your word for it, Bin.

As for critics who think that Bindi is too young to be around wildlife, Terri says that the pigtailed princess would rather ride elephants than be cooped up in suburbia. The thought of living in an apartment with a goldfish made Bindi chime in, "I don't think I could cope." No Nemo fan, she.

Bindi, who called Steve "the best dad in the world," is continuing her father's work by bringing her animal-loving tour to the U.S. next month. Hannah Montana, watch out!

181. What special people the Irwin clan are! Steve's parents were caring for these animals long before the thought of a tv show ever entered anyone's mind! It's not like raising kids, that are gonna grow up & be able to care for themselves someday, this is a 24/7 job that has to be done everyday... no matter what. I'm amazed at how mature Bindi is and I'm looking forward to her brother joining her & Terri in following in Steve's footsteps!

184. Bindi Irwin is a very adorable and intelligent child. Hey Teeks, whoever you are?? You need to grow up and get a life! Why do people these days go out of their way to be so rude and crude?! And somebody tell me why people like Teeks think anybody gives a rats behind what he or she thinks anyway! Bindi you go girl! You are 8 years old and already have alot more going on for you than a lot of adults do!! Your daddy must be the proudest dad there everv was! Sincerly Yours, R.L

185. ROCK ON, Bindi!!!! She's a feisty little thing and adorable too. Gues she gets her feistiness from her dad. I think her parents did a wonderful job raising such a beautiful child. Yes, she's only 8 years old, but she's wise beyond her years.

I think Steve would have been very proud of his daughter and can only imagine the love that Terri has for her. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

186. I was reading some of the comments posted on this site about Bindi. How can anyone say such mean, cruel, and hurtful things about her? You people need to grow up. Bindi is just a little girl who loved her father very much and wants to follow in his footsteps and do the same kind of work he did, working with animals, and there is nothing wrong with her wanting to do that. The Irwin family is still grieving over the loss of Steve and for those of you who disrespect his daughter on this website is so appalling and immature. I wish all the best for Bindi and may God bless this little girl for helping the animals just like her daddy did. I know her daddy is watching her from heaven and is very proud of his little girl, just like I am.
May God Bless The Irwin Family.

187. Teeks,
I assume a "teek" is baby "geek" whose thought processes did not evolve as you got older. We are all beautiful in God's eyes, and if you can't see what a beautiful girl Bindi is, looks, intelligence, charm, and wit, then you are the one to be pitied.

189. Bindi is beautiful anyone that says she's not needs glasses. Bindi is beautiful inside and out. She doesn't just say she loves animals she shows it with every breath she takes. Her parents gave her love and let her share there love for the animals. They have make her smart and the ability sto see the importance of there work. Bindi is doing what she has always loved to do. Why should she stop just because of her father death. I enjoy watching her and I will follow her progress in her future.

We all love Bindi

193. I think Bindi is gracious, intelligent, very poised and rather cute, not to mention adorable. Terry, on the other hand, could use a make over---one that would give her a different hair style and color and all. Great family!

194. Sharon you need to shut the f*** up with your non spelling ass. Teeks knows an ugly girl when he see's one. He also knows a good crocodile dick when he see's one. Why do you think he's been eyeballing lil Bindi, she resembles a crocodile dick.
