"Prison Break" Star's Snobbiness Triggered Crash

"Prison Break" star Lane Garrison may have averted tragedy last week had he settled for a lesser vodka.

Garrison was behind the wheel last weekend when his Land Rover crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills, killing 17-year-old Vahagn Setian. As TMZ first reported, Garrison met Setian and two 15-year-old girls hours before the crash. The teens invited the actor to a party. People who attended the party tell TMZ they saw Garrison drink between four and seven shots of Grey Goose vodka in a short period of time.

Now other sources say seven was the unlucky number of shots. And we're told, Garrison was not drinking out of a shot glass -- the receptacle was much larger.

People who attended the party say Garrison finished off the Grey Goose and was offered Absolut vodka, but insisted on his drink of choice. The sources say Garrison was making a liquor run for more Grey Goose with Setian and the two girls when the accident occurred.

Garrison's high-powered celebrity defense lawyer Harland Braun tells TMZ his client was heading back to his apartment when the crash occurred. Garrison's blood was tested the night of the crash to determine his blood alcohol level. Results are pending.

Driving drunk and killing a minor child in the car is a crime. yes, Harland heartless Braun will get him off and he will continue to drink and use with the support of you assholes. If it were your family...then your rants would change.

Someday he will be sorry and this will in time ruin his life, as it has the family and friends of the boy he killed.

I have learned from my mistakes so they wont be repeated.I also have paid in fines, jail time, and lawyer fees,,etc..as he should to. Yet I know he regrets his mistake more than I can imagine. We are ALL human and equal in pain, when it comes down to it, really.~SUMMER~

139. Harland Braun makes six figures.

He is a Defense Attorney, it is his JOB to get people off. Get the f*** over it. The world wouldn't be fair if it was made up of just prosecution. Debate is a beautiful thing.

140. How the hell do you know if he's feeling bad or not, "patty cakes". You don't know him. No one is supporting him, just supporting the law. WHICH STATES INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. You don't know sh*t. What some half-assed gossip site, and a bunch of drunk ass teenagers say, doesn't mean anything and thankfully won't be tolerated in court. Cry about it, morons.

Stupid bitches like you need to be taken to the back and shot LOL.

141. Look; situation is horrible, and one poor kid is dead; however, everyone makes mistakes. Lane did not mean for this to happen..He did not set out that night to kill a kid.He made a bad choice that seemed harmeless at the time, but turned into tragedy. Who knows, maybe if he had driven another 2 blcks, he might have hit a telephone poll and killed all three passengers including himself. Everything happens for a reason, and he will have to live with one kids death on his chest for the rest of his life; let everyone learn from this situation and not point fingers.

142. listen up #55....Parents are at this moment responsible for their children's actions (in most cases). Talk to the parents who received fines or jail time for alowing their kid to go out and get in trouble. it happens. I'm not saying everyone drinks b4 they are 21 yrs. old but most do...i did..most people i know did....i tried to get people to buy me booze, and some did, some didn't. Think about all those times you had parties in college and one of your buddies who was under 21, came over and drank with you. it's the same thing Lane did. These kids made a choice to get into the car with someone who obviously shouldn't have been driving... i've done that a few times myself, and thankfully i'm still alive.
The courts can probably drag this case out trying to blame anyone and everyone who were in some way connected to this accident. This kind of incident happens everyday....even in, dare i use the term, middle America. My brother drove when he had too many drinks, he hit someone else, however no one was hurt. The only difference between my brother's story and Lane's story was that Lane's passenger WASN"T wearing a seatbelt causing his death, and my brother's passenger was. FYI my brother did no time, and paid a $500 fine. Even non celebrities get off easy. Which should never happen, but it does.

143. Always make sure your vodka is aged longer than your women.

From what i understand, each bottle of Grey Goose is aged 16 years to perfection.

To bad for the 17 year old. "He was just a boy"

144. I don't get it. Why are blood tests pending for so long? Usually when a person is taken to the hospital or arrested, they know within minutes if your blood tested for alcohol and how many points. It happens all the time. I have all seen it done at emergency rooms when victims are brought in from car accidents. Better yet, why didn't they do a breath test..they would have known quicker.
