34. Talk about lynch mob mentality!!!! This outpouring of hate towards Lane is IMO every bit as wrong and damaging as drunk driving.

The full facts have not yet been established. Lane deserves to be treated with some degree of compassion. How many of us can honestly say that we've never screwed up at some point or another in our lives?

It seems to me that some people aren't going to be happy until they've pushed Lane right over the edge.

Nothing will bring back the kid who died so please show a little humanity towards Lane & his family who must be going through hell right now.

If charges are filed then let him have his day in court so he can tell his side of the story.

35. #15 He was drinking with CHILDREN. The reason kids arent allowed to drink is because they are not responsible enough. How can you expect a bunch of drunk kids to take his keys? Why isnt he in jail for providing alcohol to minors and drunk driving. Oh yeah, celebrities are allowed to drive drunk and serve no jail time or have any consequences. What a great example. What kind of weirdo takes a bunch of teenagers with him? What were they planning on doing? He could have gone by himself if all he was doing was getting booze. I think he had some plans for his underage friends.

41. blood test will tell if he was drunk. and where are the parents of the person who had the party? would you leave your teenagers alone to party at your home? i never have and in most states in you have a party and children are drinking you the home owner are the one in trouble even if you did not now that booze was at the party.non one knows why he was with these children but him and the 2 children who are alive

And anyone who's ever met Lane would know he doesn't have a snobby bone in his body. It's because he's such a down to earth, fun guy that he allowed himself to be lured into this bad situation.....he didn't want to disappoint his fans by refusing to go to the party with them.........

The idea that he had some sinister motive is crazy........a guy like Lane could have his pick of women, and if he were into underage girls (which I sincerely doubt!) he is savvy enough to be a helluva lot more discreet than to pick them up at a supermarket checkout.......gimme a break!!!!

44. Snobbiness has nothing to do with this case. If everyone who was snobby got into car accidents like this, then half of the world would be totaling their cars right about now. Preferring one drink over another is not a matter of snobbiness, but taste. Lane is not snobby anyway.

The title of this article needs to be changed, because it's misleading, false and STUPID.
