62. I took the time to read almost every post and almost peed on myself. #48 and the rest of you kooks guess he's looking for the real driver with O.j. Simpson. This is the biggest crap of lies I have ever heard. Remember Nicole and Ron were responsible for allowing their heads for being almost cut off. Young (teenagers) meet a grown television star with a nice auto and he invites to ride with him are usually not responsible and will make that mistake. His lawyer will say anything to get his client off, even if he's guilty. Can we for the first time think about the grieving family who lost their son?

When will you people take your head out of your asses and realize that 30 drunken, underage teenagers aren't credible witnesses? Why haven't the pictures of Lane drinking come out? Because there are none.

Lane was not drunk. If he was, he'd be arrested by now. The BHPD doesn't use equipment that is so primitive that the results take weeks. They must be testing for drugs.

68. This is so tragic - Lane has cut his own career short just when it was taking off -- this is the outcome of very stupid decision. The loss in this situation is immeasurable - the loss of a young boy, whose life is irreplaceable. What is truly intolerable is Hollywood's insistence in these situations to make these situations "go away" with the highest power attorneys and publicists to brush away any problem the individual has caused. Everyone makes mistakes - those things are eventually forgiveable, but when an individual cannot face the public with the truth of their involvement - this is just not acceptable. It adds insult to injury. The public should not tolerate this type of behavior.

Let's hope that the DA's office is able to build a solid case and prosecute this guy -- he was old enough to know better, but it's a shame that he'll have to live with such dire consequences - the loss of his career, and worse yet, the knowledge that he is responsible for the loss of a life - no attorney can erase that memory from his conscience....

71. I am disgusted that some of you feel sorry for Lane Garrison. You should see how one 26-year-olds stupid decision changed the community that Vahagn lived in. The highschool students cant study, teachers cant concentrate and teach. His family must be torn-up inside. Such an innocent boy. Vahagn never got to go to his prom, he never got to go to his highschool graduation. His parents never got to see him walk down the isle and get married. THey will never be able to have grandchildren...just because of one careless driver. Im really sorry for anyone who feels sorry for Lane. Im sure now Lane feels guilty, however...Vahagn doesnt have the chance to see his friends, or family ever again...that is the saddest part.

73. first of all my prays and thoughts are with setians' family and friends.. i know that everybody is hurting and i am truly sorry.. but at the same time you should know that Lane is not a bad, evil person. He is a polite, sweet person and this accident is going to go where ever he goes for the rest of his life. But if he could do it all over again he would do it definitly..

74. #26 .. although I agree in principle with a lot of what you said, the "Well Drunk Driving might be the last bastion of "what is harmful to us" is not acceptable to me. If it was only going to harm us (me) fine ... but as we generally see, its the fool that's drunk that walks away unharmed. It's some innocent that ends up dead (and yes... I do consider the 17 y/o fatality as an innocent). The "adult" should have known better!
