We don't usually sing the praises of "Saturday Night Live" (because they usually aren't funny), but today we applaud them for sticking it to Mel Gibson in last night's episode.
Just after the monologue, "SNL" aired its own "re-cut" version of a trailer for Mel's new movie, "Apocalypto." Let's just say they made more like the Gibson movie we expect from Mel after his anti-Semitic rant from earlier this year.

25. FUNNIEST LAUGH OUT LOUD BIT on SNL in a very very long time!
But, TMZ, I did not feel that they were busting on Mel AT ALL... In fact, I came away from it thinking of it as.... a gentle tease from an old buddy. You just know that Mel loved it! I found it to be a great plug for his film.
AND I agree with the rest of the world - - who cares if he calls out the Jews?! What ever happened to freedom in this country? You know that everyone else is making fun of "whitey" here, there and everywhere! (and is doesn't bother me one bit)

28. To all the anti-Semites claiming that the Jews run the media and Hollywood, the last time anyone bothered to check, we ran only 10% of the industry. We have found that Jews, as always, have become the scapegoat. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was a huge slanderous lie about us and now the persistence of ignorant, hate-filled anti-Semites that we run the media is also a way of justifying hatred. As for Mel Gibson, if he had dropped an N-bomb you could be sure that the debate would still be going on. It just happens that he dropped the Jew-bomb and 6000 years of collective kicking us when we're down is hard to supress, especially since it is an international sport, especially in Europe and Africa (that's right, before there was even a colonial slave trade, we were slaves in Africa and persecuted). What really disturbs me is that he made a comment that was just as vile towards women, but no one seems to be picking up on that. Anyway, all I know is that it couldn't be his Aussie upbringing since Russel Crowe was an absolute mensch as he wanted to donate $1000000 to a Montreal Jewish school's library after it was firebombed. It must have been the persistent and very well documented anti-semitic crap Gibson's father preached. As for those saying that the situation is long over, until he shows real remorse for his hatred and tries to show empathy by some form of restitution, this is far from over. Finally, Jews have long given up picking pennies off the ground because we were afraid to get screwed up the arse by pea-brained, hate-filled, Ameritrash (that's short for American Trash).
