61. It IS a big deal. She could have killed innocent people. She has enough money to call a limo/cab/assistant to take her home instead of driving in an altered state. I have heard of people drunk driving on the wrong side of the freeway and everyone has either killed themself or other people. She should have her license taken away and be put in jail...permanently. This is more than a "mistake".

62. You people defending driving on the wrong side of the freeway are either morons or out of work comics. Not Funny.
Put down the mouse , start hitting the bong AGAIN and try and stay away from the motor vehicles. Most places deliver now, so when the munchies kick in, grab a phone , not your keys.

63. Nicole does have a problem, but the poor girl has to live in the spotlight and she didn't pick it. I loved nicole when she was chubby and was on the orginal simple life, she lost her funny when she lots her chub. Nicole needs to admit she is under weight and she IS going back down the road she made it from.

69. Nice fracking comment there Corliss and Don, and I'm speaking as someone who has lost two family members to someone driving on drugs, almost lost a cousin to a drunk driver, and had my next door neighbor lose two daughters and a wife on Thanksgiving due to an illegal worker who stayed out all night drinking.

These morons are making a living by being outrageous and showing their "naughy bits" and should be shunned, not embraced by our society. Their called trash and throwing a waste of a human being like Nicole in jail might be enough of an example to save a family someday grief like my family has seen.

70. THIS GIRL HAS A LOT OF UNRESOLVED ISSUES AND PROBLEMS, PROBABLY COMING FROM HER CHILDHOOD, THAT NEEDS TO BE SERIOUSLY DEALT WITH.

71. Your 15 minutes are up, now you must go into obscurity. You put people lives in danger, and you are an utter embarrassment to the process of adoption, privilege, and "celebrity" which you hardly are. You were a fat ugly girl on a reality show, and now your a skinny addict who cant see DO NOT ENTER signs on a freeway. I hope you lose your license and that the city doesn't allow you the privilege to drive anymore, since you don't even take your own safety seriously, hopefully the city of Los Angeles takes the lives of their citizens seriously! No slap on the wrist will do, your fame has expired, and so have your non-existant looks. I guess its true you do reap what you sew.

73. The real sin / crime is how damn vicious and ugly these postings are, are you kidding me? Where do you people come from where you are so damn critical and wishing death to a young woman who has some obvious issues. Where is your compasion? Do you really want someone to die? Calling her a looser, you hate her wow oh wow, who has the real problems here.

I think I would rather take a couple of vikes smoke a blunt be skinny than have that much vile hatred in me for someone I don't even really know.

I only intended to say: If my pop culture trivia serves me correctly Nicole has a mother, why does the press and the public always refer to what her father should say or do, the mother holds responsibility as well. I know for a fact there is a relationship between the mother and Nicole. Why is the public only holding Lionel responsible.

And: Had that young woman killed someone, we would not even know there names, the bigger story would have been her.

And: Like a few of the other postings ---- I want to know who she was talking to on the cell phone as well.

Thats it......

74. You know, I took this route home from Hollywood to the Valley last night. I suspect she came over Barham from Hollywood, hung a right on Forest Lawn Dr to cut over to I-5/134 but took the wrong off-ramp instead of the on-ramp at Forest Lawn Drive/Zoo Drive. The ramps are directly in front of each other and the road is perpendicular to the freeway. So it CAN be a little confusing to someone who's not thinking clearly (or drunk). She must have panicked and pulled off to the right which is actually the carpool lane.

75. While Nicole's actions were selfish, thoughtless, and dangerous, they were not uncommon. DUI is the most commonly committed crime in the US. Everyone who has made a mistake does not deserve to a.) be killed in crash b.) be raped in prison or c.) be driven to suicide. For all the angry posters out there, why don't you think about the consequences of YOUR actions the next time you are chatting on your cell phone in traffic (cell phone usage while driving is also a major cause of traffic accidents). The point is, we all make stupid decisions and what's most important is that we learn from them and grow as human beings. Beyond her lack of judgement, Nicole, obviously, has some serious problems. Hopefully this incident will compell her to make some changes in her life.
