Young Princes, Old Queen to Honor Princess

Princes Harry & William: Click to watchRoyal hotties William and Harry will remember their late mother's birthday with a benefit concert by Sir Elton John, Pharrell Williams, Duran Duran, Joss Stone, and an unfortunate medley of Andrew Lloyd Webber hits.

The "Concert for Diana" will take place in England on July 1, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday. A memorial service will follow on August 31, the tenth anniversary of her death in a Paris tunnel crash. Prince William, the future King of England, joked, "If it works it'll be brilliant, if it doesn't, then we won't be in the country much longer."

William teased that you'd "have to be very good and ask Santa nicely" for tickets to the show, they'll also be available for purchase online, starting tomorrow. Proceeds will benefit two of Diana's favorite charities.

18. Agree with #13. Elton John is so highly respected not only because he was knighted by the Queen, he has also done a lot for the music industry in the UK (and continues to help eg: Scissor Sisters), and was also a very close friend of Diana. For f***s sake you idiots, if you don't like the Royal Family, then don't comment.

Who cares if Prince William supposedly hooked up with your friend, no one gives a sh*t. The Royal Family, especially the two princes have a lot more respect worldwide than most people in the US full stop, especially more than your trailer trash uneducated morons.

19. Nice that they're doing a concert as a tribute to their mother. It's more than Charles did for her for many neglectful years. Good for them. She shouldn't be forgotten, for many reasons.

22. I agree, why make such nasty comments when all they are trying to do is honour their mother's memory. Gee...I guess raising money for charities their mother supported is a bad thing. I'm sure Diana would be proud of her sons.

And to the person who says someone they know had a fling with someone they know...big deal, like that isn't normal for a boy his age. Why do people always complain or say nasty things when young adults act their age. Of course, I don't believe for a moment that this person actually had anything to do with Prince William. Those comments sound more likely to be from someone who got turned down.

28. William and Harry should marry very pretty and intellengent girls, someome who is not their third cousin twice removed. That girl Will is dating or whatever, seens , by looks, to be a regular chick..... but the big question is : when is the queen gonna step down and let some one , ANYONE else , bring some life into England.Why the people in England still want these anti social, inbreade , unemployed ( they get by on taxes that are thru the roof) as the ruler of their lives is crazy to me . The time before and during and after Diana was the only time it was fun to read about them. They should all have to one year with no goodies ,like on survivor - hay thats an idea. I would love to see the queen have to hunt for food and wipe her on ass after she craps. Now that would be real TV for sure!!!!!!! :)
