212. Well, I think that rasicim is a leverage for black people to get what they want to a certain point. All that stuff about the slavery and working in the fields picking cotton happened over a 100 years ago!! We now have machines that do that work. That argument has no leverage anymore for so many reasons I care not to discuss them here. Get over yourself already. Why can't the past be the past. If you look at America today, no one is better than anyone else wether black, white, asian, hispanic, latino, mixed, chinese, etc.True alot of useful inventions have come from black people and everyone uses them! No one is trying to dis-credit you. However, alot of things have come from white people too and you don't see us making a big deal if they're not given credit for it. All the soldiers who have died for this country are turning in their graves to hear you complian over racisim because that is not what they gave their life for. They gave their life willingly for freedom for us ALL!! You see one person act one way and you blame their whole race??? You are just showing your ignorance!!


And to #101, you wrote that whole thing and referenced God as the only one who has authority over anybody. I totally agree with you on that. But I would like to point out one interesting fact, count how many times you typed in a curse word. If you'd read the Bible, you'd find out that God does not like a person to curse.

214. By the way, I think that Tamiko is much prettier than Tara. Tara messed up. Now, she is paying the price. Nothing is ever hidden when you become a celebrity and she knew all the rules up front when she entered the contest. Tamiko will make a very beautiful,classy Miss USA.

215. Tamiko is very beautiful and Tara needs to be dethroned if all the things said about her is true. I don't understand why the raciest thing is even mentjoned anyway. They are both beautiful girls irregardless of color, and if Tara isn't the quality required then perhaps Tamiko is..................unless the dirt starts coming out on her once she is crowned as well. One never knows. And it's obvious Tamiko isn't a purebred, so there really isn't any "race" question to it at all.

216. I thought that this discussion board was about Tara's mishaps and Tamiko's gain ,not their races. Clearly, racism still exist because everyone's comment has addressed the color of one's skin and social inequalities that have stemmed from the past and as we can clearly see, have continued on in the present. Forums like this prove that despite what we believe, everyone got to swim deeper, both blacks and whites for most of these comments have far bypass the forums intentions and become a slamming sessions. Tara and Tamiko's character can be described in a countless variety of ways other than by the color of their skin. Both women are beautiful and talented but Tara by far has be granted an opportunity that would have been beneficial for a lifetime, one see took for granted, one that Tamiko undoubtedly will happily receive.

As people we have serious work to do!

218. I knew Trump was not going to dethrone this girl. He looked at his option a black runner up. He was not going to let that happen. Remember when Randall won the apprentice Trump wanted the white girl to be the apprentice along with Randall. Trump is a racist. He proved it again and is hiding behind the second chance excuse. Why didn't he give Carolyn a second chance? Further more if this girl tested positive for coke, kissed another girl in the mouth and was drinking and clubbing she didn't start when she came to New York.

In my honest opinion, the Miss USA pageant is not only a showcase of the country's most attractive young women, but also a highly publicized portrayal of our well-mannered and good-moraled America youth. For Tamiko to have inherited the title of Miss USA 2006, in light of the recent scandals relating to Ms. Connor's teen-spirited debauchery, I'm sure would not have felt like a well-earned victory. I think Miss Nash would be much better suited in pursuing her philanthropic role and a career in education. A beautiful and classy lady all the way through.
