Minnillo on Baby Buying Binge

Vanessa Minnillo tapped into her maternal instincts and went on a shopping spree on Tuesday... for baby things!

The "TRL" host hit L.A.'s Petit Tresor, a fave of stars like Katie Holmes and Madonna, and dropped around $600 on items for a boy.

We're told Vanessa came in alone (boyfriend Nick Lachey was nowhere to be found), and was in the holiday spirit. Among the items Minnillo went gaga for: a chenille baby basket for $189, a pair of adorable dinosaur slippers for $32, a frog plush toy for $38 and a blue Ultrasuede blanket for $269. Vanessa took all the gifts with her and had none of them wrapped.

It's looking like a very Merry Christmas for at least one boy in Vanessa's life.

19. i cant imagine any girl being more self absorbed than j simpson but i havent heard anything bad about minnilo???? not saying she's perfect but there's no way she's worse than jessica. i watched newleyweds and i just gotta say nick deserves a real woman---- a nice woman. he was so down to earth and such a sweet man. i wish the best for him!!!!

23. It would be so nice if Vanessa was preggers and she and Nick were going to get married. If she isn't pregnant it doesn't matter. I think Nick is going to get married with in the next 2 years. He's already in his 30's and he seems like the settled type.

I can not stand Jessica. All that fake crap she pulled on that Newlyweds show makes me sick. She was so "pure" and "sweet". Turns out she may be the biggest slut of them all. Tossing Nick under some crazy idea she could do better. The girl is laughable.

Some of you people on this site mut be real stupid to think a woman who has just learnt she is pregnant will buy those items the first time she goes shopping???duh??? Those items are surely to compliment a friend or relative's baby who is born already..Why don't you fools get yourselves pregnant instead of dreaming for someone else..
I wanna how Nick maintains his celebrity life style when he settled with almost nothing divorcing jessica, and he's not really selling that many records either?

Some people can't let go the silver spoon they borrowed..same for K-fed though his Cd rocks!
