138. I remember seeing a documentary about her and her mother when Brit was growing up. Even when Brittany was in her single digit age she was the provider for the family. I guess the dad left when she was 4 or 5. She was singing in contests and anywhere else her mom could book her.
As I am old enough to be her dad, I feel for her. It appears as if she is really trying to break loose from her fame to try to get away. Who knows, but like many of you said, she is in a spiral, a very deep spiral!

143. Brittany, you will probably never see this, but I feel it needs to be said. It is sad that you are doing this to yourself and your children. I hope you find whatever you are looking for before you can't salvage custody of the childen or your career. It may already be to late for the career, but it isn't for the children! As a parent would you want your child to look up to someone who is acting like you are right now? Just because you are rich and famous, it doesn't mean that those who supported your career through purchasing your music will stand by you as you continue make conscious decisions to destroy your life. Good luck in finding the right path, especially for the sake of your children.

146. JJ, I think you hit the nail on the head. She has made all of these decisions for herself, and it definitely reflects on what type of person she is. Being a mother, my kids are my top priority and nothing else. From the looks of it she doesn't spend any time with them and it is just sad. It would be nice to see her do a 180 and start getting her priorities straight.

Brittany,Brittany,Brittany............She will be just fine....leave her alone..........everyone is looking at her time out away from the kids and not realizing most moms today are gone an average 14 to 16 hours from the time they get in the car and take them to school or day care head to work and then back home. Give it a break ! I am sure Kevin spends his time wisely ( NOT). This is called a situational crisis and inside she is a wonderful young woman who has had enough of the publics criticism.

149. I don't know what's more disconcerting, the assumption that tattoos are the preserve of white trash or the assumption that people who speak with a southern accent are white trash. I only checked out the story because of my interest in tattooing. I ended up reading some arrogant kid spewing their classest horsecrap, while obscessing over a disposeable pop musician. The irony is apparently lost on most of the people responding to the article.

150. I think we as a society had better stop idolizing the Britanys and her ilk, for the sake of any hope we may still harbor for our future generations! We are supposed to be able to point to people we want our young to emulate, but these so-called 'stars' we are holding up for so much scrutiny are definitely giving the kids the wrong impression as to how to live their lives, and who to pattern their lives after! Gee! Her so-called 'marriage' lasted two whole years? She and all the other self-important people of her kind should be hanging their heads in shame, instead of going out and 'hooking up' with anything that moves, either of the same sex or not! These people in another time would have been given 'names', and the names certainly would not be 'star' or anything else positive! 'Slut' comes to mind, as do some other not-so-desirable names. I, for one, do not want to know of the escapades of this, or any other, sleep-around 'star'. I am sick of hearing about them. And gee' I wonder why our grands and great-grands as young as kindergarten are suddenly dressing like hookers, and having kids as young as ten or eleven years of age. Wake up, America!
