Rosie Doesn't Take The Donald's Bait

Rosie O'Donnell shot back at Donald Trump this morning on "The View" -- with nothing more than a piggy-ish face.

Fitting, perhaps, since "pig-faced" was just one of the adjectives Trump used to describe Rosie yesterday after their public slapfight exploded. Against expectations, Rosie chose not to get in the ring with the Infamously-Coifed One, making only passing reference to The Donald.

Pointing out the presence of her partner Kelli in the studio audience, Rosie said, "I was afraid to leave her home in case someone with a combover [ahem] came and stole her from me."

And that was that. Meanwhile, Donald vented on "Good Morning L.A." Is Rosie now taking the high road, or has she been silenced? Her rep says she's has no additional comment.

A rep for "The View" provided this comment from Barbara Walters, who is out of the country, to TMZ: "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to 'The View' for many years. I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View'. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

62. I mean, yeah, she might've slipped and mocked The Donald, but com'on, admit it! She is better than Star Jones 'n even before that Donald case or Kelli Ripa, she had the viewers and the audiences up 'n howling! The Donald's a billionaire or a multi-millionaire...'n i don't know why Donald is so upset. I do respect a lot of the work he has put into his company, and his daughter Ivanka is a very intellectual and presentable woman eeeeh not like Paris Hilton. But yeah, he can't even hold his own son's diaper. I'm sure Rosie can handle a diaper. Rosie would even go 'round a typical mall and make people smile. You know, The Donald's too busy with his real estate and property ventures in LA, Las Vegas, & NY. Rosie just says what she wants and if i was her publicist-well she knows she needs to tone it down a bit, but hey she can never be Rosie without being Rosie. During a Fox phone call interview today, he even mentioned how he's in the Forbes 400....he wants us to give him a price of what he is actually worth....
Anyways, Do you all remember Kanye insulting Pres. Bush?- I don't think Pres. Bush sued him for that!

So, that's my take! Hopefully, they resolve their situation, but there are far more important things like getting your shopping done for your loved ones and visiting your family and friends for the holidays!

65. Can I just say one thing? I hope that the way Donald Trump portrayed Barbara's conversation with him after Rosie's comments on the show about him are clearly straightened out by her on the show the next time she's there. He has intimated that she was unhappy and felt unacceptable of Rosies comments. This is what I say and she might make this known so her other viewers will confirm that what Rosie said happens to be what we have been saying and feeling all along about Donald Trump we just don't have a national platform to express it. He is a not a respectable business man when he needs to act so childish on television and rebutt his dislike for Rosie with FAT comments. I cannot believe that he of all people would even comment on how unattractive Rosie is when the world has been waiting for years for him to cut that ridiculous mop of a hair-piece he wears. PLEASE he leads an absolutely immoral life with his current and past relationships and to be so proud of it because he has BILLIONS shows his lack of IQ. I seriously have been troubled by her side taking in the past with Stars situation and I would hope that that backlash would have educated her from taking a stance against Rosie because it would purely seem to the average viewer that Donalds bucks rate high on her list if she do. He is nothing but a jerk and he needed to be set in his place and Rosie in my opinion did just that. After all why would he get so upset if what she said didn't touch a nerve of truth. I say GROW UP Donald not all of society thinks you are as great as you do.

67. I had more respect for Rosie when she was nice. I was never a fan of the view, but it seems to me that the show was meant to be a platform for differing viewpoints, not for the type of controversy that it has become. As for Donald, I have never had any respect for him. He cares only about himself. His comments were totally uncalled for. His insults were a put down to innocent people everywhere. He had no right to insult overweight people, nor homosexuals. They have nothing to do with his being upset with Rosie's opinionated and judgmental words.
