Rosie Doesn't Take The Donald's Bait

Rosie O'Donnell shot back at Donald Trump this morning on "The View" -- with nothing more than a piggy-ish face.

Fitting, perhaps, since "pig-faced" was just one of the adjectives Trump used to describe Rosie yesterday after their public slapfight exploded. Against expectations, Rosie chose not to get in the ring with the Infamously-Coifed One, making only passing reference to The Donald.

Pointing out the presence of her partner Kelli in the studio audience, Rosie said, "I was afraid to leave her home in case someone with a combover [ahem] came and stole her from me."

And that was that. Meanwhile, Donald vented on "Good Morning L.A." Is Rosie now taking the high road, or has she been silenced? Her rep says she's has no additional comment.

A rep for "The View" provided this comment from Barbara Walters, who is out of the country, to TMZ: "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to 'The View' for many years. I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View'. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

61. "She didn't take his bait"

Walters told her to keep her big mouth shut, for once.

62. Let's face it. Rosie got LUCKY in show biz.
She's a FAT, Unatractive DIKE with No CLASS.
IF she was an ordinary $7.00 an hour worker @ Burger King - I doubt she'd haave such a babe on her arm. IT's Lust Of Her Bank Account. Take it all away, and well, you got yourself an overweight, obnoxious, angry DIKE>
Donald Trump on the other hand - even if broke - has tons of CLASS!

63. Mercy.

We all know "The View" is NOT the show it once was. It was such a great concept at first-- but the egos get in the way.

Not knowing Rosie personally, I can only go by the impression she gives... and she appears to be very hypocritical. She needs to be accepting and respectful ---to deserve the respect and acceptance she so craves. You can get your point across without looking like an idiot or taking down a whole ship full of people with you-- and she is certainly SINKING THAT SHIP!

When I watch a talk show-- I don't mind seeing a differing opinion- a commentary that is stated professionally and articulately. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED OR PLACE for name calling and childish behavior like this, it is an embarassment. Funny? She is more like the class clown that you may laugh at--but eventually can't stay far enough away from.

64. I think they BOTH need to shut up. So sick of them.

65. Its funny how people on here is on defense for Rosie. she needs to learn how to keep her opinons to herself some damn time. It doesn't matter if she is a comedian or not, when you open up your trap about someone...don't become all bitter and angry when they say something back. Who the hell she thinks she is? God??
Frankly, I'm tired of her. Everytime you turn around she got something to say about something....and she not making the "View" any better with her tantrums. True, everyone is entilted to their opinion, but when you make it public....don't fuss about. If I was donald ...I'll sue her ass too for defamation. And who cares if she takes up any causes...there are many celebs who donate, have charities...focus on issues in the world without all the commotion. she needs to go sit her fat ass down somewhere before she say the wrong thing to the wrong person...and get hurt!!!!

67. Both of them should have stuck to the subject; Miss USA who will have to remove the straw from her nose and put on her tiara before she goes out again.

68. Go Rosie. Someone needs to speak out on this stupid Miss USA thing. Nevermind her age, she is still setting a bad example , and once again the world showing the younger generation that they can do most anything and only get a slap on the hand and all is ok. No wonder their morals are so low and many don't have any at all
Bringing Rosie to the View was the best thing they could have done. Ratings are up and now will probably start soaring. B4 Rosie came on it was 4-5 women trying to out-shout one another and we couldn't tell what anyone was saying. Good luck to Star in her new whatever she is doing. She was the pretty girl on the view with her money for beautiful clothes, wigs, etc. Personally I think she was much prettier B4 she lost so much weight in her face.Whatever I will continue to tape the view and watch if I have time or here there was some juicy stuff taking place.

69. hello, is this thing working???!

70. I cannot believe how hateful and rude these comments about Rosie and Kelli are. Rosie, no matter what, is one of the most charitable people in the world. I would like to see some other celebrities do as much for charity.

And Trump is supposed to be a proferssional business man...well his low class is showing. The fact that he spoke for Barbara Walters is hysterical. Just goes to prove that you can't buy class with money or young model wives.

71. OH, what a morning. I have really enjoyed having some free time to read and add my opinion to the Rosie/Donald/Oprah blogs. It is now time for me to go back to work.

72. I really don't care about Rosie or Donald's sexual preference, hairdos, weight or any other physical description of them. Donald comes across as being a relatively "normal" person, which considering the advanatages he's had in his life is remarkable. Rosie on the other hand is the most caustic, rude, whiney, finger pointing rebel rouser we've ever had the displeasure of living in the same world with. She is extremely rude and and loud. When people are that ugly inside they are just ugly no matter what they weigh. I think she desperately needs serious counseling!!!!!!

73. Tis the season,

Let's face it the Donald dropped the ball here or maybe Miss USA helped him pick them up?? Either way Rosie the voice of the distressed gave it to him and well deep down I think they deserve each other and I can see him, Rosie and the beauty queen in a New version of Three's Company. Now thats a reality show

74. Bonnie, that's his trademark, you would have to hogtie his behind to cut that mess...he really thinks he's the sh*t...

Compare his daughter to Tara...they both doing the same thing...that's why he gave Tara a second chance...

75. Donald is a millionaire/wannabebillioniare white trash. Rosie is an opinionated but funny bull dyke.

Frankly, the world could use a lot less Donald and a bit more Rosie.

The Donald is pond scum, with bad hair, a horrible wardrobe, questionable taste in women, no taste whatsoever in architecture and design and an egomaniacal blight on NYC.

Let him sue her. He has no case and his TV show is the very height of useless and utterly fatuous reality television.
