395. Maybe Donald has nothing better going in his life than to spend so much time and effort launching attacks at a woman. His attacks on Rosie's appearence and sexuality are almost comical when he comes off as such a sleaze-ball with his trophy wife and ostentacious life style. Rosie is well liked and Donald is usually ridiculed. Keep up the good work on the high road Rosie!

397. First, I think those who compare women to farm animals must have some different obsessions than most and/or lacks dates ?!
Next, It''s sad to see two adult people whom I normally admire for different reasons go at each other in a childish manner.

398. I have been watching the View since the beginning because I enjoy the show. I especially like the women because they do speak their minds, and Barbara lets them. I agree with Rose, about what she said, and am glad she had the courage to say it. I think the apprentice is a terrible show, like the other reality shows, making the people beg for a job or money to me is abusive, and Mr. Trump is morally imbalance, like King Henry the V111, or even Hitler. I wish he and all the other shows be taken off, they are putting poisen into the heads of the people who watch them. I could say more about Donald, but I do not have room.

400. Ms O'Donnell has the right to express her opnions. The problem is she conveyed them in a manner she thought would be funny. She missed on that one.

Mr. Trump responded like a 12 year old boy in the school yard, as have some of the people who have commented in this space.

Ufortunately, in both cases, this is a reflection of how most Americans behave these days.

402. When she had her own talk show, Rosie O'Donnell convinced the viewing public that she was a very sweet natured person. I adored her along with a lot of people.
Shortly after the show ended her personality either changed or was set free of the neccesities of tv ratings. She began attacking people left and right. She became
very judgmental and mean spirited.

This is the course she has continued to take. I think Barbara Walters was correct in hiring her for the The View. She has the perfect outgoing, unfettered personality that appeals to viewers of that program. However, Rosie is not very thoughtful or tactful.

She has accused Kelly Ripa of homophobia for becoming, rightly, offended when an overbearing guest covered her mouth during an interview. Luckily, Ripa is no shrinking violet and was able to confront her on the air. Not only did O'Donnell not apologize but she continued to try and defend her ridiculous assertion.

Rosie next insulted the Asian American community for an unwise immitation of an Asian language. In her defense, I think it is clear that she did this innocently, for a laugh and ment no harm. However, people were hurt by this. They took offense. Instead of offering a heartfelt apology she tried to blow it off as if it were no big deal. She also went on to say that it might happen again due to the way her brain works. This from a woman who accused Kelly Ripa of homophobia!

I like Donald Trump but I do find him to be grandstanding and enormously tacky. Still he chose not to fire an employee who embarassed the organization she was contracted to represent. That's worth something. It's easy for a cynic to say that the whole thing was a publicity stunt and Rosie was well within her rights to comment on it.

However, launching into a tirade wherein misinformation and attacks on a person's physical appearance (which is always mean spirited) are spewed in the name of comedy might be funny but is undoubtably also going to lead to hurt feelings and possible litigation.

I would have been more upset about Trump's response, that is calling Rosie fat, if she hadn't started it by commenting on his hair. You don't make fun of the way people look, especially if you have little room to talk.

Whether Trump overreacted or not is a matter of opinion but it is undeniable that O'Donnell brought the aftermath on herself. Now Barbara Walters has been dragged into it. In my opinion Walters lied when she denied, on the air, that she has said anything disparaging, about O'Donnell, to Trump. This is a man who is acutely aware of the legal ramifications of everything that he says. I hardly think he would tell a bunch of journalists that Walters had said these things to him if she hadn't.

What it boils down to is that you have three public figures with substantial egos, each with a reputation to maintain. It seems to me that Trump has the least to loose because he has the most truth on his side.

403. Rosie used to be a great personality on tv when she was given all the info needed to speak about. She is going to fall out of her league fighting with Donald. I love Rosie but to take on Trump is a wrong move. She will make enemies with others that she cannot afford to in the tv business. I don't much like Donald who thinks his money makes him untouchable and no he is not such a great looker. Rosie has a weight issue yes but so do lots of womyn and it is caused lots of times by medical issues that tend to get overlooked. Donald will take her down if she is not careful with her words and to turn Barbara against you is another major problem.
I think they should both just let it go and know that neither of them has won anything but neither has lost either. You will always have for and against in any matter you look at.
