46. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people get on forums, such as TMZ.com, and say the most ridiculous things about people they don't even know. I've known Katie personally for well over a year now.

For the obvious reasons above, and being professionally involved with many of the people affected by this "scandal," I can assure you that things aren't always as they seem. Do you honestly think that pictures of Katie partying when she was 19 are just hanging out all over the place waiting for someone to find? Of course not.

In reality, a lot of people (specifically those benefiting from the scandal) have literally spent weeks collecting and aggressively seeking anything that might be considered damaging to Katie. Before they found what they found, 3 days ago, they even went so far as to try and claim that Katie was a prostitute because of completely innocent pictures of her with celebrities, and ended up launching a ridiculous police investigation against another friend of mine as a result. Seriously??

Whether Katie is fit to be Miss Nevada is obviously up to the pageant director to decide, but I would ask that complete strangers, who know nothing more of the situation than what they read in the news, to consider the quote mentioned from Katie's MySpace page. Don't judge unless you are fit to. And remember what I said above, things aren't always as they seem.

If the justification for your foul remarks about someone you don't know is merely the pictures, believe me, by personally living in Las Vegas and working in the nightlife industry, I can assure you that the vast majority of the girls that visit here aren't entirely above taking (a seemingly) scandalous picture or two once they've had a drink in them. All of them are someone's sister, daughter, friend, or girlfriend. Maybe even yours?

By contributing to the post, arent you infact engaging in what you call ridiculous. Frankly its time for people who read TMZ and comment on the stories to stop the nonsense of judging those who frequent these forums. You are here, with the rest of us, that makes part of TMZ .

A picture tells a thousand stories, no one placed this young woman in the pictures, she was there and engaged in what we can clearly see. If she was gagged and bound and forced to perform, we would also note that.

She is by no means an evil person for her actions, however her character potrayed in the photos, opposed what she had claimed to be.....a woman of good character and a role model to all young women. Some bloody a**holes made the societal rules, she accepted those rules by potraying herself as Miss Goodie two shoes Nevada. She should be the one thinking of the digrace to her family, we just comment on what TMZ gives us irrespective of wether the person is human or Thetan with relationships..they are the ones that should have considered their loved ones before behaving with such sheer stupdity.

Do you think we will all be shocked to see Jenna Jameson in these pics, no!! simply because she didnt pretend to be part of the mainstream society and chose to make the most out of what she knows to do best. I respect your legitimate opinion on the subject, but my comments were directed towards the people (90% of the comments on here) who are saying things like "dumb whore" and "You want to taste your p***y Mmmmm. Here now taste mine." I mean, really, what is the point of that?

I respect that the pageant was probably forced to make the decision that they made due to pressures from their sponsors and colleagues, but at the end of the day the requirements for Miss USA (As posted on their site) are to be "savvy, goal-oriented and aware.....And to compete with hope of advancing their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who see to improve the lives of others."

That doesn't remotely imply that they expect someone to have been the pure definition of all things Holy throughout their lifetime. And while I'm sure Katie is regretful of decisions made in the past, I don't think pictures taken from one drunken night out three (3) years ago strip her of all the good she would be able to offer people throughout her tenure.

58. sorry mr. colton, but as i see it, one makes choices in life. now, they can be the right or the wrong choices. we have to live with those choices. i personally have made choices that i wish to God i had not made. but i still must live with them. this 17 year old (at the time) has to know that, just like the girls on Girls Gone Wild, that there can, and may. be a price to pay. this is hers.
