Celebrity Feuds
Trump Blames People Like Rosie For Iraq War

The Donald's new celebrity war with Rosie O'Donnell is comparable to the war in Iraq ... at least according to Trump.

Last night, the Donald phoned into "Larry King Live" from a phone on his private jet, and continued to bash his newfound enemy by comparing Rosie's claims that Donald went bankrupt to the "lies" that got the U.S. involved in the war in the Middle East.

"When people lie, Larry, I like to go after them. And I think, frankly, more people should be like that. I mean you look at this country, look at the problems we have -- lots of lies got us into the war in Iraq."

Earlier in the week, Rosie posted a message on her blog detailing Trump's financial history. "She said ... I went bankrupt three or four times, there's only one problem, I never went bankrupt."

The bitter feud officially began when Rosie ripped Trump on "The View," for acting as America's "moral authority" in his public pardon of Miss USA Tara Conner.

Larry King said they invited Rosie to appear on the show, but she declined.

46. TEAM ROSIE!

"The Donald" needs to shut his trap and quit whinning like a freaking 7 year old!! for a man of his stature,he sure is acting like an idiot. you know, we have this thing that is called THE BILL OF RIGHTS, and one of those rights is THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH!!! Rosie can voice her opinion, IT IS HER OPINION. "The Donald" just needs to LET IT GO! Quit acting like a juvenile idiot.

47. Donald also sued the reporter he gave complete access to for saying the same thing Rosie did. Does he not have anything better to do than being the biggest idiot in America? Whatever happened to The Apprentice? Didn't that show have low ratings too?

48. I stand for Mr. Trump's side. As a leader and mentor he's just trying to protect his own student. If you were on his side, probably you would also do it,the sane manner as he did.

50. Both are morons and should be ignored.Trump is hurting his "cause" by making outlandish comments. The way you deal with idiots like Rosie is that you point out their idiocy and let them bury themselves. Now the focus is on Trumps comments and everyone forgot what an idiot Rosie is.
Boycott them both!!!!

51. The thing about Rosie lying and him wanting to take legal action against her for what she said.....

It seems very flimsy. She's a comedian. Comedians make outrageous comments on celebrities all the time. In addition, as people have pointed out, he has filed for bankruptcy in the past. That is fact. I don't think he will be too successful in taking $$$ from her "fat pockets."

Say what you will about Rosie and her opinions and her loud mouth....she is one of the most philanthropic celebrities out there. She's opinionated and passionate and brusque but she's genuine. Trump is a hollow fake with little regard for anyone outside of his glittering world.

And I still say he's "showing himself" by getting so upset over this. You better stop Trump......we can SEE you.

54. Donald Trump has some nerve calling Rosie ugly. Has he looked in a mirror lately? He looks like Tweetie Bird. I don't know which is tighter. His mouth or his a**hole.

55. The only thing i don't think is fair is that He's basically condoning one chicks acts of partying and wants to ban the other two chicks for doing EXACTLY the same thing. ok wait the nevada cjick didn't get caught drinking, just kissing other chicks. If he supposedly owns or runs all those pageants, then how come one can be saved and the others have to be stripped? what about rehab for them too? you gave the usa chick another chance don't they deserve one too? it just don't seem fair. if he's going to do it to one then he should do it to all.

if i was those other chicks i would get a lawyer and sue. what is the big deal about all the wieght jokes? i mean he's hugging a couple dougnuts around the middle himself. what is that " sympathy " wieght from his wife having their child?

I read her blog and it didn't say that you went backrupt it said you would have if your dad hadn't passed and you got his money to help you out of said debt that you had accured. you do look silly though making the fat jokes on tv and such. it's not classy at all, and personally you have too much money to be acting like that. money might not give you class but your upbringing should have taught you some. Now what if she started slinging mudd at your wife? or goodness more comb over jokes.( those were kinda funny).

HATING IS NOT ATTRACTIVE.

56. How much compassion does she have for the people she berates and belittles? She doesn't have any compassion, she is a loud mouthed and closed minded. She only has compassion for the people who agree with her. She is just like any other bigot that places value only on the people that they deem worthy. Who made her the moral compass? Why should anyone listen to her? She is no better than anyone else, but she obviously thinks she is. The networks should stop paying her to regurgitate her hate filled rants. She hates just as much as the people she accuses of hating.

57. After this I don't want to watch any of Trumps programs. He is an idiot. I already don't watch Rosie, so no change there.

58. Their both wrong, but Donald has gone too far.

Rosie needs to learn to be less abrasive and think before she speaks, and learn to better communicate her point. Otherwise, her message is lost and people attack her style rather than the merit. I agree w/her assessment about Trump and his pagent and how he handled it.

And then we have Donald, whose more concerned about the way Rosie looks. Whenever some attacks him, like Martha Stewart, Cuban--he can't handle criticism. It seems whenever DARE speak out against Donald, he's as "ugly" as he describes Rosie, crosses the line. And after that, he wants to use this power and money to attempt to destroy people. He needs to get over himself.

59. @ Jeff Wall's comment...

""She only has compassion for the people who agree with her. She is just like any other bigot that places value only on the people that they deem worthy. ""

That can be said of Trump as well.

""Why should anyone listen to her?""

You shouldn't. Change the channel if you don't like what is on. I personally get hives if forced to be in the same room with the VIEW on.

""The networks should stop paying her to regurgitate her hate filled rants. """

As long as the ratings are up...they won't be cutting her.

I'll also say that there is almost nothing that America hates/fears more than an overweight, opionated woman with a loud voice that is not interested in men.
