Tyson Faces Judge

Mike Tyson mugshotTMZ is all over this Mike Tyson bust in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tyson appeared before a judge just a few minutes ago in connection with his DUI arrest early this morning. Tyson was advised he will be charged with one count of narcotic drug possession, a felony.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that after he was stopped, the former fighter admitted to cops that he had been using illegal drugs over the last few days. Cops claim they found cocaine in his car and on his person.

Tyson was released today without bail. He must check in with a pre-trial service officer today. Under the terms of the release, he will be forced to take drug and alcohol tests.

Tyson was ordered not to possess any weapons or drink alcohol. He cannot take drugs without a prescription. The judge also ordered Tyson not to leave Arizona.

Celeb Mugshots: see photosCops say they stopped Iron Mike after he ran a stop sign and almost crashed into a sheriff's vehicle around 1:45 AM. The arresting officer was part of a special holiday DUI task force.

Police say Tyson was cooperative and acted like a gentleman at the time of the arrest.

This isn't Tyson's first brush in the law in Arizona. In 2004, the embattled boxer was arrested and charged with suspicion of criminal damage after cops say he left a nightclub and jumped on the hood of a stranger's car, causing about $1400 in damage.

You know mike would have did alright if he had sincerely embraced Islam sincerely , like Muhammed Ali ( Cassius clay). He excepted after he came from prison a long time ago but something happened. Hollywood Lights I guess.

hi folks i really just came on to say a little something that we all need to really remember -"be careful how u judge anyone because we are still living and since u dont know what the future holds the wisest thing to do i to put your own self in simular positions in your thinking and ask how would i feel if folks were saying nasty mean evil things about me -lets face it the only one who really has the right to say anything about any one is the victom .So my question to all is this were u the victum? if not just say a nice prayer like Please show mike the right way to get his life together for we all know only the Almighty above can do this his name is God and that is what it going to take for all of us could it be that your mess have not been caught up with and what will u do when the things we all are hiding are brought to the light his mess is out in the open bring yours out too and let the world decide like u are doing to him and all the rest of the folks in the lime light hmm could it be envy or jealousy or maybe a little wishful thing that u wish u had the cash they have or the style and beauty along with gump and stamina,just be thank ful it wasnt you huh! well as for me i will just say Grace is what keeps us all day by day, Bless him Lord to come to terms with what ever he needs to correct the bad things and disappointinments in this life maybe he is so hurt from his upbringing that he may never come around it happens u know, so all you parents think of how and what you are unleashing on the world called YOUR KIDS thinkk about folks real hard i love u all-a caring person that has been thru a lot thanks for reading and understandings!

I live here in Arizona and automatically it's 6 months in jail just for the first DUI. If Tyson doesn't get at least that...then Sheriff Joe is as crooked as I thought he was. As for Tyson...who gives a sh*t anyway. He needs to grow the hell up!

yo mike, you stomped out my man's pops in brooklyn and now you on coke. damn, i thought from there you were going to make another comeback by beating on peoples from the hood. that would of been a hot reality show. I would of called it " TYSON: I'm going gangsta on dat ass" the reality show. contestants have a shot to take on iron mike for 3 rounds, the winner( if somehow survived) would win the w-heavyweight hood belt and cliam dominance over mike tyson. RESPEK!

I live in Maricopa County, Az. and agree there is no easy way out for Mike. It's too bad he can't sing...at least Glen Cambell could put on a concert for his fellow inmates. He might as well make a plea and get his time in and behind him because he is headed for Tent City, its just a matter of how much money he wants to spend on lawyers to get him there. My advice; save the attorney fees, ask for immediate judgement, get your time served, get use to pink undies, and ask for no more than green bologna and stale bread, because in Sheriff Joe's Jail, that's three squares a day!
