Bebe and Juliana: that's not very nice. Your attitude and inability to spell (it's HAAGEN DAZ) are giving latinas a bad name. I'm no "fat cow," but I would never want to be as skinny as she looks in this photo. It's unhealthy-looking and unattractive. Let's be honest, how many guys are going ga-ga over Nicole Richie or Lara Flynn Boyle? Super-skinny does not equal super-hot, and as a celebrity and a role model she should be more responsible about the things she says in public. For one, being taller is not going to happen for her at her age, and if people already idolize her then she obviously doesn't need to lose weight. Now that she did, she's losing fans. How sad.

Are you really surprised? There is so much pressure on these young girls in Hollywood to be thinner that the next girl, it is no wonder they are starving themselves. What happened to the healthy looking actresses? There are only a few I can think of who don't look rail thin and make no apologies for it.

I think she looks absolutely terrific, just like Nicole Richie did when people FIRST started saying she was anorexic. When Nic got to 85 pounds those same people (who had been harrassing her and looking for something that wasn't there) looked back at the pictures when she was 105 and said she looked great then. She did... and so does Jessica. Leave her alone!

I'm sorry you are a poor speller; I don't eat Haagen Daz either, but a college education has taught me how to spell many things outside my own realm. It is true that people with low self-esteem will rag on celebrities to make themselves feel better...they will also sling personal insults like "fat cow," "loser," and "ugly" at people they've never met when these references are not even relevant to the argument. How childish. My issue with Jessica Alba stems not from jealousy or my own image problems, because I am perfectly happy with myself and have long admired J.A. for reasons other than her beauty. I am disappointed with celebrities who are irresponsible with the messages they convey to ippressionable publics. These stars know they are role models and that fans will follow their lead. When they exhibit and promote unhealthy body images, it takes a toll on many young people who are trying to be "cool" like the celebrities. These stars know how the cycle works, yet some of them are careless enough to play into it. I just thought Jessica was better than that.
