According to Cindy Adams, Britney's upcoming CD sucks. The gossipista claims the five songs Britney delivered are so bad that Brit's label, Jive Records, is kicking around the idea of kicking Spears to the curb. And Britney's recent late-night antics aren't helping her downward spiral. Adams reports that Spears' "drinking, bingeing, partying, whatevering, photos with no panties for a mother of two infants - is hitting sour notes" with Jive bigwigs.

Meanwhile, Life & Style Weekly claims that Brit's family wants her to get professional help -- stat. But so far, Spears has limited her therapy to the hedonistic kind -- she checked into a day spa in Arizona, according to MSNBC, the day after she reportedly passed out drunk at Caesars Palace after the clock struck 12.

Page 6 reports that items on the block include 13 Dolce & Gabbana bustiers, four monogrammed velvet bodysuits, a leather whip and a chair described as "Whitney's throne." She's also tossing out a few of Bobby's things, including 16 "assorted" music awards.

MadonnaIt seems Madonna has already forgotten her new son's Malawian roots. After claiming little David as her own, the Material Girl quickly turned her back on his biological father. The Washington Post reports that Yohane Banda has been trying to get in touch with Madge to check up on the tyke. "All I want is to find out how my son is but I don't know how I can do it. I don't have her phone and mailing addresses," Banda says. Madonna can rest easy, though, because Banda has no interest in taking the boy back.

ABC is banking on a big hit next season with a TV show based on the movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." The film's writer penned the pilot, and the film's director will shoot it. The series is described as "'Married...With Children' with guns" ... Rod Stewart and Rachel Hunter's divorce has been finalized. Details of the settlement and who got custody of their two kids were not disclosed. Stewart, who filed for divorce in 2005, is engaged to model Penny Lancaster, and they have a 1-year-old son ... Will Ferrell and his wife had a baby boy, Mattias, on Dec. 30. The couple also has a 2-year-old son, Magnus.

91. Talk about idiots...re-read your comments folks and you'll see what I mean. First of all, why worry about Britney's future. She couldn't sing to begin with. Her popularity stemmed from good sound mixing. She could dance though. Even though it was choppy and stiff.

Now as to Whitney, well folks hate to tell you this but when she's ready to record again and get most of her original voice back,she'll knock your socks off. She didn't need sound mixing to ever make her sound good. She can carry a tune and sing it high and low without music. It's called a cappela. Look it up if you don't know what it means. Remember, even American Idol tells their wanna-a-bees don't try and sing a Whitney Houston, Maria Carey or Celine Deon song. You'll never, never come close to any of them. So learn about what true talent is and you won't find the Britney's of this world so interesting and their demise worth spending effort on.

Please get real and get some help; that's what the rest of us have to do and let's face it, she hasn't got much to fall back on at this point. 96. Now that Britanny has got her shape back, and dropped the looser husband, she is worth looking at. All her antics have put her back in the public eye, showing her as a desirable, sexy superstar, not a fat frumpy has been. If the label droped her, she could pick up a better deal faster than her first marraige was annulled . Bet on her being on tour this summer, and appearing on Regis Kelly, The View, Oprah, Rachel Ray, Letterman, Leno, Kimmel ect.

97. I knew Britney's career wasen't going to last. Im glad that its going to be over soon. Only little girls like her music. She has aboslutely no talent and she's not pretty. She doesn't take care of herself and her image also makes her unattractive. Reality is finally biting her in the ass.

100. it looks like she is just having a good time like the rest of the world... but she also has 2 children at home and i dont think its very "motherly" to be dancing around like that and acting the way she does... you would think she would want to spend new years with her children. It seems like she abandons them quit often leaving them with the nanny and she claimed awhile back that she didnt want to be one of those mothers. She is fake and expects sympathy from people and its really sad. I dont know about her new cd being a wash out, I have heard 3 of her new songs 2 months back and they were actually not bad, very dance. The point is, she isnt as great as people once thought she was and i dont think her career will last too much longer. Shes very trashy and plays the victim card, shes a celebrity and a mother, yes she is a person but when you know you have a million cameras watching ur every move, you need to act a little more classier and mature. I dont know many mothers that show off their private parts like that. And its a horrible one besides, looks like roast beef! That pic of her throwing up is def fake by the way.

103. I think it's nobody's right to judge someone for what they do. I've seen parent do 100 times worse things than brinty's done and they wasn't on TV. It would be diffrent if bridney had her kids with her when she was getting drunk.Shouldn't have fun picking on people that makes mistakes cause it can come around back on you.

104. Not a good example for kids. Never was. Now that Britney has two children, perhaps rehab and grow up AWAY from the press and those poor kids. See if anything redeemable after that.????

105. It should not be surprising that a grown woman consumes alcoholic beverages. It should not be surprising that Britney would go through a partying phase upon the demise of her marriage, considering she abruptly got married too young and played the conservative housewife role, which she was clearly not ready for.
The only thing that is surprising is that generally when a woman becomes a mother she usually becomes more mature than Britney appears to be. The fact that she is taking her partying extravaganzas to an unhealthy level is only a cause for concern because it now involves the lives of her two young children. I don't think we know enough about her personal life to conclude whether or not she is a "good mother," however if these stunts continue, she is sure to jeopardize her reputation and be deemed irresponsible. I would hope she would consider her children and her reputation more important than getting smashed. Good luck to you, Britney.
