Orange Crushed -- FOX Cancels "The OC"

31. I'm bummed...I'm 41 and I love the show! I can't believe I admitted that. It took a weird turn in the season 4 premiere...very dark. I wish now they'd not killed Marissa off, just let her go do whatever...then she could have come back for the series finale. And I was interested in the Taylor/Ryan relationship and where the writers might take that. Oh well, just like 90210, I'll miss it. Now I'm going to have to find another teen drama to keep me young!

32. I am shocked that the OC is going to be canceled this spring. I thought that it would be on 6 or 7 years. But killing off Mischa Barton's character doomed everything! They should have focused on the other characters of that show. And Fox should have moved it to another night instead of having it crushed every week by No. 1 Grey's Anatomy in the 9 pm slot. Everybody was watching that show.

34. Yeah!! Another show canceled that I can't stand. I tried to watch it once. Never again. Bad acting and bad writing makes for a bad show.

35. I think this sucks! I have been a fan of the show since it's first episode and have followed it all the way. I was unsure about Mischa getting killed off, but this season is the best since Season 1 and they dealt with Mischa's death very appropriatly! This is sad news. But I have to agree with others, FOX has a way of killing off their best shows. Reunion was also a good one...f-Fox

37. This makes me extremely sad. I have watched this show religously since it debuted and I have never missed an episode. If there is any way to make The OC come back someone please tell me. If they moved it to 8 oclock, or Wednesday night it would work out better because it wouldn't have The Office and Grey's Anatomy to compete with. Ratings would go back up. Problem solved.

38. Sometimes I liked Mischa's work on the show and other times I did Not like her at all on the show, it depended on the episode and my mood..LOL.. I did hear that Misha was Not a very nice person in real life...I hope it's not true, but if it is, she needs to get over herself!
In any case, I am disappointed that the show is going off...I hope they change their minds. I do think that the show went a little down hill but not cause of Mischa not being on...because they changed it in a way I can't explain. I think they should combine humor with serious plots again more...and though I love Ryan ... I dont think he belongs with the new love they have him with...she is a little annoying..if they tone that down, maybe they would be better together... I think I liked him best with the girl he met in school...the one that was Kirsten's sister...they had chemistry...I think anyway!
And I love the characters on the show...Julie's younger daughter was almost as annoying as her older one... though I enjoy Julie. And I love Kirsten and her hubby...and their son and his girlfriend..etc...
I will miss this show..I think they could've improved it again and even without the improvement I think this show was better then a lot of the shows they leave on T.V...... I hope you come back "O.C"

39. i'm so sad the show ended but it had a good run,
it was a amazing show n very unpredictable - mostly cuz it moves fast
- but i t hink thats y it ended so soon they took everything n put it in the 1st n 2nd seasons-which were the best seasons n u never got bored of it- n had nothing left over to use
jus like alot of drama shows

but with shows like smallville, 1 tree hill, grey's anatomy, etc u get bored of them sometimes cuz nothings new n the teen drama acting in them r nothing compared to The O.C.

43. I love 'The OC' and I'm a huge fan, and as much as it pains me to say this, maybe it is for the best. I mean, what could they possibly come up with that would shock us now? The only thing they could do was to make someone pregnant, but that would be stupid. It was good while it lasted, but I am gonna miss it...

45. after killing marissa in the third season things havent been quite as good...but they cant close the show!!!!!!....the oc was soooo AMAZING last season....just get refocused...you have sooo many fans who want to see the show continue!!!!!!!

p.s. I love summer!!!!!!!!!
