46. this is really upsetting the oc was the best show ever, and even though marissa died last season. I didnt really like her character and i thought she had no real talent. I LOVE THE OC AND ALWAYS WILL!

and this show is amazing. its sad its coming to end.

marissa being gone did lose a lot of fans;
and now that the four some is gone..
there really isnt anywhere for the show to go.
i kno the dedicated viewers [such as myself]
would stick by and still watch.
but overall ratings would and
obviously showed to be deadly.

50. I am SOOO sad they are cancelling the show so fast!! So many of us who have been loyal to the show since day one, and this is what we get. Why couldn't they wait till May when all shows have there finale. All FOX cares about is American Idol, and nothing else. That's why they don't have any good shows. Like the others have said, guess I will have to stick with other networks who give there shows equal time and energy!!!

52. No one cared when it came on, and NO ONE will care when it's finally GONE! Hopefully FOX can put something on TV worth watching. 24's awsome, but that's all they got. Tired of Smallville, Grey's Anatomy is getting too touchy feelly, and cable tv just shows re-runs of shows from 2 to 3 years ago! There's almost no point watching TV anymore. ARE YOU LISTENING NETWORK TV????!!!!!!!! No good TV, means no one watching commercials which are a big part of your revenue. Shape up, or I won't care if TV switches to HD in 2 years, because I won't be watching! Think about THAT!

The OC is like one of the only good shows it has. This is one of the best shows on TV and every single one of my friends today was sad about it. i mean even guys like this show! fox effin sucks. i hope they die.

54. I am pretty upset about the cancellation of The OC. I have watched it since Season 1 and I couldn't be happier when they finally killed off that hag last season. She brought the show down I thought. Since the show started up again this season it's been SO MUCH BETTER without her. So this definitely sucks. But...I saw something somewhere that the new CW network may pick it up...keep your fingers crossed!

55. ahhhhhhhhh lets see the writers needed to be fired this final season was the worst ever produced . this shows was in hot troble even when marissa was there. it just died out for lack of great stories the producers are very dumb i doubt they will ever work in this town again. marissa alread knew what was coming i think the pressure she felt the heat and knew the show even with her was gone. im a fan of season one and 2 and i loved how they killled marrisa character i think its classic . marissa is the only one with talent on there and it stood no chance of seeing another season .i didnt see not one episode the commericals looked dreadfull and made you not want to watch it . 90210 was the best and it cant be dubbed nice try though the oc . another killed off show , i just dont see none of them making it big well i guess they will have to stand in that very very long line of aspiring actors they better pack several lunches its gona be a long wait . the long line of typical pretty girl and pretty boys actors who think their looks will do the trick in holyweird its a long line in the " unemplyoed actors line . overall the oc was for season 1 and 2 great then died and now its offical .

56. Somewhere, Mischa Barton is smiling. She may not have been very talented, but she brought in viewers. I knew the show couldn't survive without it. The ratings crashed more quickly than Ryan's jeep. Way to go, Joshie. But I have a feeling he wanted to end it. This just shows how much loyalty he has for his show's loyal fans.

57. Some of us are still being active really trying to save the oc. It is all about the power of numbers uniting. Can you imagine if the 3 million viewers all demanded another season! They would have to listen. If you like the show, don't lose faith!

58. I loved the show. I wasnt sure I would watch it after Marisa left either but I actually liked the story line with Taylor and Ryan hooking up I thought that it was nice to see him with someone else. I had heard that CW might take the show that would be so cool. I think Fox should finish out the season and the CW pick it up. I hope its one of those like 7th Heaven that decide to stay on the air. Love the show.A loyal OC Fan.

60. I was a huge fan of The OC back during Season's 1 and 2. The show was one of the shows that I kept up with. Then it started going downhill and I stopped watching.
