Lindsay lohanTMZ has confirmed that Lindsay Lohan has undergone an operation to remove her appendix.

Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lindsay's rep, tells TMZ that Lindsay was not feeling well and went to the doctor yesterday. The doctor performed several tests and determined that Lindsay was suffering from appendicitis. Doctors asked her to return to the hospital today to remove her appendix as a precaution.

Zelnik says Lindsay is resting comfortably.

Seems Lindsay suffers from a case of bad luck around New Year's Eve. Exactly one year ago, Lohan was posted up in a Miami hospital after suffering from an asthma attack.

34. Removal the next day!! I had my appendicitis and they removed it with a couple of hours of diagnosis! They usually don't wait to remove your appendix. I could be really serious if they wait.

35. Some people are a bit harsh. "I don't care about her, unless she is dead"? What is that? If you don't care, then don't read. Never wish death on another or it may come back & bite you in the @$$, one way or another. Remember what goes around comes around. She may not be displaying proper social skills, but that does not make her any less human than someone else.

36. Good cover-up!!!
We'll see how fast she's up and about, I had mine removed and while not a serious surgery I couldn't walk upright for a week or more.

42. Hah, I knew it! It's not even a week into the New Year and Lindsay Lohan is in the hospital again. That girl has the most "ailments" I've ever seen happen to a person. The hospital should dedicate a wing to her.

Whether it's asthma, broken limbs, exhaustion or the removal of her appendix, that girl has a troubled life.


Sigh, I use to like her so much before she started behaving like all the rest of the primadonna's.
