Being pretty is not all there is in Hollyweird for the place is filled with pretty girls who can sing. JS does not understand that.
For example, JoJo, the teen singer could easily be a front runner for writers to send songs to and for B-moive roles.

So sad that I'm still seeing her impersonate daisy duke in sat. dish(or whatever they're called, shows that I don't pay attention) commercials. Wasn't that over a year and a half ago?

So sad she's still trying to sell her ditsy side for a buck, when no one's buying it anymore.

face it pappa joe, she's done. Nothing personal, we, the American public have just lost interest and moved on to the next "big thing".

35. People have a right not to like her. Nobody is jealous, either. Most people liked her before she showed her true, fake colors. Nick made her famous and now she's nothing without him. He was the bigger star and now he's a star again since they split. She's short, fat, ugly and has no talent or morals. Her 15 mintues are almost up.

37. Dear # 10. It isn't jealousy that makes us dislike Jessica, it's shear lack of talent & integrity...she is hanging onto 15 minute fame-dome and she doesnt have any talent. There are SO MANY undiscovered talented individuals that really bare raw entertaining talent; she does NOT. Acting (or being) dumb is NOT funny or talented; its shameful! I for one am not jealous, just disappointed that this is Hollywood and the wealthy. In my opinion, I'd not pay for her music or movies; as I refuse to support 'NO TALENT"

I can't believe this girl still gets work, everyone keeps saying thathat her fifteen minutes are up but then she's still getting movie rolls and commercial endorsments, No one else seems to bb be getting as much work as her, I don't know how her father do does it , he must be paying people off because no one likes he her and she sucks at acting but people keep hiring her I don't k know what's going on but I think her fifteen minitues of fame will will never go away because Joe is just to smart he knows what he is doing to keep his two skank daughters in the spotlight!

40. i agree that people are jealous of Jessica and thats why they say such hateful things about her. I watched Newlyweds religiously- and i LOVED it- she was so NORMAL. Yes shes spoiled- but shes funny and ditzy and just wants what we all want- love and success. Yes I think it was stupid to leave Nick- but what do we really know of the situation? We only know what they want us to know. Theres been no mudslinging and I applaud both of them for that!

44. Apparently, #10 and #11 just "don't get it."

It's obvious neither one was paying attention, otherwise they would realize the reason people "hate" Jessica Simpson is because she was force-fed down our throats for years on end.

Her "fairytale" marriage to Nick Lachey (that barely lasted, what, three years), you couldn't escape the newsstands with their faces plastered on every single magazine it seemed(if I would have been "Nick and Jessica" one more time ...), her "music" was played on corporate radio every 10 minutes, in addition to the fact that she was handed a show on MTV where her "fame" skyrocketed because the moron doesn't know the difference between tuna and fish.

No one's insisting they're a rocket scientist, but instead of putting her in her place about numerous faux pas, they're *celebrated* and Chicken of the Sea even handed her a contract!

She's not a great singer (her voice is weak and it's dubbed over a few times), her attempts at acting have been thoroughly shredded, and she can't keep her daddy out of her life.

WHAT could there possibly be anything to be "jealous" of?
