Britney's Wild Ways Score Big Payday

Despite ending 2006 early and in dubious style at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas, Britney Spears will be getting her hefty paycheck from the club, despite rumors to the contrary.

Reports this morning suggested that Brit's woozy exit from Pure may have been precipitated by distinctly unflattering heckling from the crowd , and that because of her premature departure, she would not be getting her reported $400,000 appearance fee.

However, in a statement from PURE's publicist, by way of our friends at SpyOnVegas, the club's rep Kate Turner says, "The crowd LOVED Britney and they cheered her on everywhere she went. She had a great time and we were delighted with her appearance at the club and cannot wait to have her back. She is always welcome at PURE and we'd love to have Britney back next year for New Year's Eve."

21. every party wants a stripper,and that they got,rather expensive stripper but they had a stripper,400,000 is not bad for a couple hrs,maybe she can make up with paris and have a twin stripper party next year

22. Britney's handlers and family had better step in soon before she completely hits rock bottom. It's sad to see someone who had some talent spiral out of control like this. There was a time when young girls could look up to her but those times are long gone. Now she's pathetic. It's no longer a matter of "if" she bombs out; it's a matter of "when". The real losers in all this drama are her sons. Neither one of their parents is worth a crap; how sad their childhood memories will be.

28. She never passed out. She never "fell down" or "fell down drunk". She was exhausted and tired and those who were actually there said she had the same glass of champagne in her hand the entire night and it didn't look like she was drunk in the least. Even on video you can see that. She left on her own accord. TMZ and other sites reported that she fainted or passed out but it's really not true. And as far as her going out on New Year's eve while her kids were at home sleeping....jeez.....imagine that. Going out on New Year's Eve. Give her a break.
