Will Smith Backs His Son Out of a Jam

Will Smith, wife Jada and son Jaden arrived at the airport in true superstar style ... by getting mobbed.

The stars of "The Pursuit of Happyness" stirred quite a scene as eager fans swarmed the onscreen father/son duo as they made their way into LAX. Nice guy that he is, Will made sure to accommodate the excited fans by taking time to say hi.

Jaden took the easy route by hitching a ride on dad's back.

22. Will Smith is an anomaly amongst celebrities, although I'm sure he's had his moments - he knows better than to take a swing at a photog or put his hand in a fan's face... fans and photos are the milk aside his bread and butter (films) and I, for one, applaud him for this.

I also agree with the first comment, Lamest Story Ever... maybe his son was tired? Really who cares though - another celebrity being approached by people who "just had to say hello/shake his hand"

Watch movies and move on, if celebs could live in peace like the rest of us wouldn't that be nice? Send fanmail, join fanclubs - but I don't think that autograph will make your life any better and that handshake won't rub any fame off on you, guaranteed.
