Celebrity Feuds
Rosie: 1 Donald: 0

Donald Trump thinks he's winning the war of words against nemesis Rosie O'Donnell, but in the war of popularity -- The Donald is getting his butt kicked.
Rosie O'Donnell vs. Donald Trump
According to Nielsen Media Research, Trump's "Apprentice" took a serious shellacking in the ratings this week, while Rosie continued to help the yentas on "The View" leave their daytime competition in the dust.

"The Apprentice" finished a distant third in its time slot on Sunday night, light years behind "Desperate Housewives" and "Cold Case," and barely in front of old "Family Guy" reruns on Fox. In fact, Trump's lead-in show, "You're the One That I Want," featuring pathetic Broadway wannabes, scored higher numbers. Ouch!

In contrast, Rosie's been unstoppable ever since she took her first shot at the combed-over real estate magnate. "The View" has been a ratings juggernaut, picking up approximately 77,000 new viewers per week in its metered markets. The latest round of bickering caused nearly twice the surge.

Perhaps Trump should be Rosie's apprentice!

46. What a bulls**t poll. Was the View ever up against any competition?
To compare ratings for a prime time show (in a time slot that has been dominated by Desperate Housewives and after a day of playoff football) to a morning show that is up against nothing means absolutely nothing. If ABC was to push the view to an afternoon slot against Oprah and Ellen and viewers would disappear faster than Rosies narrow minded opinions.
To keep attacking Trump, who is no different than any other wealthy man in this country, is ignorant. Nobody knows what his life is like or what chairitable committments he has made. Neither do we know the truth about Rosie. Is she genuine or is all her charity work carefully orchestrated by press agents like the 'haves' always do to make themselves seem magnanimous.
Yet all of these bloggers who are now concerned with Rosie or Trump's sex lives or infidelities were the same ones saying that the Clinton/Lewinsky affair was nobody's business.
It's funny how much the 'leave them alone' mentality seems to depend on how likeable a person is. In this case flip a coin.
Remember when Ellen pushed the whole gay lifestyle thing and how her popularity waned - now she's back on television and she is back to being funny, because she stopped making everything about being gay.
In reality, regardless of what either extreme wants you to believe, most people do not want to hear about peoples sex lives, straight or gay.
One last comment about the Miss America situation, a lot of people seem to think it's some moral issue yet remain strangely silent when it comes to Brittany (who came to fame as an underage pole dancer, Lindsay, who apparently has a revolving door arrangement with rehab, or Paris or Nicole or any of the teenagers who the media turned into scantily clad whores. Welcome to the 21st century where there is no class any longer. And isn't it funny how a large number of these out of control girls were introduced to us by Disney. No sadly looking to Miss America as some sort of moral barometer is just misguided. BTW when did looking good in a bikini and spiked heels make someone a morally righteous person or even a good person. They are now what they have always been Meat Parades -with all of the push for women to get more evenly treated in this society why do we even condone these things.

47. My only question would be..Who in their right mind would want to be an apprentice of Donald Trump?... or his daughter or wife or..you get the picture. If I had all the money and clout that Donald says he does..would I waste a minute of my time refuting anything that Rosie said? Either this guy has a screw loose or he has wayyy to much time on his hands. Parading his daughter and wife on TV to defend him was the epitome of bad taste..and these women proved they cannot think for themselves. God help them all. And let's not forget the lawsuit against Palm Beach..hey Donald..here's a novel idea..why don't you take all your toys and go the F*** Home..okey?

48. I can't stand Donald Trump and wish he would go away! He has a big mouth and has no respect for ANY woman. To call Rosie a fat pig what not just an insult to her, but to ALL of us that are overweight. He needs a new hairdresser, that hair is a joke. I say Rosie, I love you just the way you are!!!

49. Oh my goodness Trump shut the heck up you are such a baby and trouble maker and gossip. Rosie he is not worth your time -and Barbara shame on you for talking behind the back of your employee. As her boss you should be either behind her or keep you mouth shut. You people are silly.
Rosie I am stright but I saw your cruise for the gay and lesbos and I think it was very touching.

50. GET ON WITH YOUR LIVES !!!

51. I have watched every season of the Apprentice until now. I watched because I liked Carolyn and George and the competitors, not for The Donald. And I do not enjoy watching his kids on the show. And what is this about tents and porta johns? What does that have to do with getting a job? If I wanted to watch Survivor, I would. If I were you Donald, I would just let the thing with Rosie go. It didn't get you ratings.......you lost whatever respect a lot of people had for you. Like a teenage boy, can't defend what you have done , so you attack the person's looks.
And Rosie and Joy are the best things about The View. I quit watching with Star on it, now I catch it whenever I can.

52. This war of words and ratings be damned...

Rosie is an example of where this Country is going and why Islam and its fanatics want to extinguish all infidels---color, sexual preference, age, human rights are of no concern to them, all will be extinguished.

Thanks Rosie for being another one leading the band wagon for immoral, unnatural and outrageous behaviour that helps further the cause for our extermination. You and the rest of your George Clooney, Da Vito crowd, so not in favor of anything to do with the preservation of democracy, but the first to demand your rights---and use the Media and Entertainment to your advanatage--- rights which you have turned into a selfish fringe lunatic way of life. To which the Islamics cant wait to keep as a reason to hate us all and put an end to.

Any questions? Read the book, America Alone.

53. Re: Rosie vs. Donald

Rosie should be thrown off the air, tomorrow, and I would NOT, could NOT miss her! In my lifetime she is the worst personality to be given a platform from which to speak her ill informed views. My score is 999 fpr 'The Donald'...ZERO for Rosie, who I have/will NEVER watch!!!

54. ROSIE YOU ARE PRESENTING YOURSELF AS WHITE TRASH AND UNINTELLIGENT. PERSONALLY BOTH YOU AND DONALD ARE FULL OF IT.
THIS IS ALL A SHOW..... IF IT IS REALLY HAPPENING TRY NOT TO DISRESPECT BARBARA WALTERS. YOUR BEHAVIOR IS TRASHY AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN SHOW BUSINESS

55. In my opinion, Rosie has been nasty and mean-spirited regarding the second chance given the young woman. If she is so hard against forgiving someone (especially someone so young) for mistakes, I'd hate to see how her own children fare in the coming years. God forbid they make an error and the public finds out about it! She really needs therapy to assuage all that anger and hostility that she has pent up against those who mistreated her in her formative years. I pray she finds the peace she needs.

56. hey rosie,,, do you remember what happen to jimmy hoffa???

57. Oh my God. Is it time for another season of the Donald's Egomercial???? I hope he gets his butt kicked again. For a man who prodes himself on his business advice and the guidance he offers people entering the business world, his unrelenting attack on Rosie is not a good example of good behavior. If I were his boss and he carried on like that, there are only three words I would say... and you all know what that is!

59. Hello, Rosie wasn't putting down the girls in the pageants, she was saying who is this DUMP TRUCK man who is not God and thinks he is better then everyone make such judgement on this girl. The one and only thing we learned with all this is don't make fun of his HAIR!!!!!! LOL.. This season of The Apprentice sucks.

60. I personally boycotted The Apprentice as I am appalled at how Donald Trump has carried himself throughout this pathetic 'cat-fight'. He has been way out of line bringing up Rosie's weight...it is disgusting and no self respecting man should ever bring up a women's weight...it is completely out of line and a cheapshot at best!
