First of all McCalls was a floundering magazine, getting ready to fold. I should know, I worked there for 8 months. The magazine approached Rosie and asked her if she would like to do a joint venture and she said no. She said if they wanted to use her name on the cover then she wanted editorial control or at the very least, final copy approval.

McCalls said yes. The magazine's circulation went up ten-fold. The magazine did not go under. Rosie had a big dispute with the editors. She said she was not getting final approval and certain stories went out after she passed on them. She quit, they sued, she countersued. The judge said both sides were at fault and neither side walked away with a winning judgement. However, while the magazine Rosie was in circulation it was always in the top 10% in sales and it was an advertisers dream which is where all magazines really make the big bucks.

83. I just love how everyone says Rosie is a loser. Her show won an emmy for five consecutive years, and was still a top rated show.

Shes worth around 100-200 million and she started with nothing. Donald inherited 200 million when his dad died, his story isn't exactly a rags to riches story.

By the way the company that produces Ellens show have been talking to Rosie since she started at the View. Why do you think she only has a 1 year contract? Come summer she'll most likely be kicking off her new talk show. Rosie knows exacly what shes doing. Unlike the Donald.

84. Oh Please!! Who in the h*ll does Donald Trump think he is anyway? Rosie is on a show called "The View" , and the sole purpose of that show is to tell your point of view on different subjects. Donald thinks too highly of himself and he can't stand for anyone to say anything negative about him, plain and simple. He needs to get over himsef and fast, because he is making an a** out of himself on a daily basis. He has proven himself a bully time and time again, and NOBODY is listening Donald so... ZIP IT before your show is cancelled before this season is even over with! You are digging yourself deeper with each insult so, keep it up and then ALL of the comics will have a hey day making fun of you, not just Rosie!

85. I'm not intirely sure where to begin here, after reading all these posts. First of all, this whole ordeal started with Rosie commenting on Donald Trump giving Miss USA a second chance, because he said he belives in second chances. Have we so soon forgotten that shortly after the Miss USA thing, Miss Nevada, who was in the running for the upcoming Miss USA pagent, was found to have done the same things as the current Miss USA? Her representatives petitioned Donald Trump to give her a second chance as well. She was still stripped of her crown. All Rosie did was point out the contradiction that is Donald Trump. She has spoken of this incident a handful of times while Donald Trump has something new to say about it everytime someone puts a camera on him. He claims he wants to sue her for slander for what she said about him on the View. He's done nothing since this started but set himself up for a countersuit from not just Rosie, but now Barbara Walters as well. As a successful businessman, Trump should have enough of a legal team behind him to advise him against continuing his rant against her. What's more, as said successful businessman, one would think that Donald Trump would be capable of behaving in a more dignified manner that what he has these past few weeks. He's not only indangered his reputation in the public's eye, but also in the business world. He should have kept quiet, said nothing, and filed his lawsuit. Instead, he's made himself a laughing stock. Who cares what the rating were for either show? I'm on the bottom rung of a multi-million dollar company and even I know how one properly conducts themselves in business. He's at the helm of a multi-billion dollar empire and is behaving like a child who got his feelings hurt on the playground. I am not a huge fan of either side but I understand that the inital comments were made in jest, as a joke. Trump has taken this entirely too far.
And a final note, 'N', whoever, whatever, or where ever you are, I've read several of the posts that you've left on here. You've stated that Donald's supporters are posting comments that are dignified and intelligent while Rosie's supporters are posting stupid hate messages. I've read far too many posts on here talking about Rosie being a c**t, a dyke, fat, etc. Even one mentioned that her mother should have aborted her. And I've read quite a few messages from Rosie supporters that are very articulate and informed. You stated that all Rosie supporters are fat, ugly women. You've singlehandedly posted more hate-filled, ignorant, biased messages on this message board than anyone else. I'm glad that you're being so supportive of Donald Trump and that you are so passionate about promoting his cause through this message board but let me extend a personal message to you. There are starving, orphaned children dying of AIDS in Africa, there are hundreds dying every day in Iraq, there are hundreds of thousands living in poverty worldwide. There are more important and productive things that can be done with your time than sitting behind a computer critizing people posting their thoughts over some insignificant feud between two b-list celebrities. I strongly urge you to find a better outlet than this.

He could responded to her first insult by saying " Sure I have made mistakes in my personnal and business lives who hasn't? I think her comments were a little harsh."
