While Madonna was defending good friend Rosie O'Donnell on "Today," there was no one protecting the pop queen from Cybill Shepherd!
As Madonna made her way backstage to greet fans on the plaza, Shepherd, who was waiting to be interviewed next, lunged at the singer in an attempt to meet her Madgesty. Like a stalker!
While unharmed, a startled Madge greeted Shepherd and went on her diva-ish way. No word on if Madonna actually knew who Cybill was.
