46. This whole feud is pathetic. Donald Trump just needs to take it like man and move on. How pathetic to watch a man take a comment from a woman and blow it out of proportion and behave like a child. The guy is a freakin' millionaire, shouldn't he be investing his energy on something more productive like, oh I don't know worthy causes?

Don't be so nieve. Babwa wa & Company WANTED Star to lie because of they didn't want Star to tell people the truth. This was not about protecting
Star. This was about protecting Babwa wa's image. They wanted Star to follow the company line and make them look great! Even thougth they'd had been plotting her firing, backstabbing for months.

If Star Jones had gone all long with that LIE, do you actually believe people would have bought that! Are you that stupid? Star would have been vilified for lying.

Can you imagine being fired, asked to stay for 2+ months, coax to lie about the termination and then endure public attacks from someone you've never said one negative word about? How would you feel! Star got tired of playing the game.

PS Everybody knows that Babwa wa leaked her firing to the press.

Keeping this idiot in the news is the wrong way to handle him, leave him out of the news and he to will soon disappear. 54. The Donald is a genius and finally the truth will come out how Barbara Walters and Bill really treated STAR JONES. I have been waiting for Star to speak up and she finally did. The DONALD and STAR are class acts.

Barbara's day is gone. She is not credible, she is Rosie's puppet. Look at her on the view - she is so uncomfortbable. She knows that her show is an hour long tabloid on ABC. Nobody takes her seriously. Would you want Bawa to interview you these days. I say no way!!!

I have the inside scoop and I can tell you that Barbara cannot stand Rosie. Get real people - why does Trump have to lie - no reason at all.

55. It is so ironic that the Trump/Star defenders keep saying Barbara lied. Have any of you taken the time to look into the crap Trump has been spewing about Rosie? Every single bit of it has been lies, and all you tools are right there to lap up his every word!

The View is owned by Barbara and ABC 50/50. ABC wanted to can Star because the viewers hated her. Barbara fought to keep Star but in the end Star had to go. The only mistake Barbara has made is not pulling a Trump and yelling publicly "You're fired!" She tried to allow Star to find a job and leave with dignity. She told Star she could say whatever she wanted about her departure.

For those saying Star left with class, what planet are you living on? Star ran straight to Larry King to bash Barbara. The only problem was Larry King is a long time friend of Barbara's and he wasn't having it.

While Rosie could have shown more class in what she said at least she spoke the truth. Trump has not only lacked class but has spewed nothing but lies. Take some time to check the facts!!!

58. I feel sorry for everyone more so for the TheView. Rosie is a comic. She is very funny and sometimes she will go over the edge, but so have Leno and Letterman.
The View by definition is a show that airs all kinds of topics. I resent the personal name calling by people. Some of the above emails border on cruelty. Trump is a powerful man and somehow his resentment of Rosie goes way beyond the comment of his being "poor" or bankrupt. Rosie is a generous person as is Trump. I say Move on and let all this nonsense die down.
