Blige's Birthday Bash

Mary J. Blige: Click to watchWith a guest list including Chris Rock, Chris Tucker and Anthony Anderson, Mary J. Blige's birthday party was a who's who of comedy.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul celebrated her 36th birthday at Mr. Chow last night with hubby Kendu Isaacs by her side. While she was all smiles, she left a few autograph seekers cold, saying, "Ooh, I don't sign white paper, honey, sorry, and I don't sign money."

Miss Thing has her ways.

4. i lost respect for mary when they showed a clip of her being VERY rude to the host of a sit down interview. these are the people that get her name out there. she is being PAID to be there. she gets no more of my hard earned money because she obviosly does not appreciate it.

5. She does not sign white paper because she is racist against white people. I have read it a few times before.

6. Is this a racist comment or what? If it is I lost all respect for her.

7. Celebs or anyone should not sign a blank white paper as the signature can then be placed whereever you want..like on a contract or on something you might never have signed or consented to. It's just to protect herself. Celeb 101...and frankly all should follow it

8. Maybe she doesn't sign white paper because it makes it easier to reproduce her signature? Or maybe it's just some kind of superstition. I'm sure it's not a racist thing, Mimi. that's kind of random.

9. I don't get the "don't sign money." Signing white paper, people could add something to it later, who knows. She didn't act very happy.

10. Yeah, and I wouldn't piss in her ear if her brains were on fire.

11. Think about it. Someone could put anything the blank paper after she signed it and make it look like she signed some other document.

14. Looks like another card carrying afro-amerkan racist, who bashes on the whites for no good reason,,, guess she should take her money and move back to Afrika if she hates us so much. By the way, us whites are no longer the majority in this country, so quit disrespecting us minorities, you overpaid, under-talented hater.

15. It's called a notary or lawyer,,, if you think a signature is going to be used on something else, then none of these "stars" would be signing autographs. Besides it seems like more ego than concern for fraud.
