35. I have two kids ages 3 and 6. I can count on my two hands the amount of nights I have been out since my son was born in 2000. That is the sacrifice you make when you opt to be a parent. Since my husband and I waited until we were in our 30's to have our children, we had plenty of time to party before they came along. And guess what - there is still plenty of time when my kids are a little older and not so dependent on me for everything for us to get back a really active social life.
Grow up Brit - you are a horrendous role model, mother, and for god's sake get some sleep - you look terrible.

40. To those of you who say that because Britney isn't taking care of her kids, we're jealous....um, remind me please--what is it we're supposed to be jealous OF?

It would scare the living daylights out of me to know that some of you people making that comment might be parents. I'm going to bet that you're not. No good parent would ever think that her behavior is acceptable unless, of course, you're a parent of three at 19 and partying all night yourself.

To Britney's very young fans who think it doesn't matter whether nannies raise her kids or not: Go look up "best interest of the child." Come back and discuss it after her kids are taken away in the custody action. It's going :::::whoosh::::: right over your heads.

42. Post 36, Molly...are you serious that you've been out less than 10 times since 2000? I don't think that is healthy. Life is way too short to put it on hold because you have a couple of kids! When I was growing up, my parents would go out at least a couple times a month. They weren't big drinkers or anything, but they enjoyed having a social life and a life more than just being parents. I know you might think that you and your husband are doing the right thing by devoting practically every second to your kids, but that has got to take a toll on your relationship. Maybe I'm wrong here...I don't know anything about you except what you posted, but I think it's sad. Your children will be just fine if they have a babysitter on Saturday nights. You can do whatever you want because it's your life, but just think about it.
