Kelly Clarkson Turns 12

Calling all stylists! Would you please help this poor child?

Kelly Clarkson was spotted leaving Nobu sushi restaurant in New York last night, looking less like an American Idol and more like a Moscow middle school student sent in search of herring.

Dasvidanya, baby!

76. She's a singer not a model!!!! She can wear what she likes ! It's about her talent (voice, song writing) not about what she looks like ! (Like it is with Xtina and Britney Marey etc...)

77. Interesting how this site rags on people for how they look and then wonders why their family members have eating disorders.

How is she supposed to look exactly? Like you? Like some airbrushed mainstream debutante created in the confines of an unrealistic standard of what beauty is supposed to be? The issue is that she doesn't have makeup on? Ahhhh I get it now. If she painted herself to fit your approval then I guess this would have never been an issue, right? I guess you're right, how dare her leave the kitchen to go out and dine. How can she find time, with all of the cooking and cleaning, keeping her mouth shut mind you, I don't see how its possible.

Ever thought that maybe she's challenging that b.s. standard? I don't know like accepting people for who they are? Being who she is. The world needs plenty more like her who keep grace and elegance high above the reaches of the creatures of the shallow aesthetic, so they may, one day, aspire to do the same. She is very talented, comfortable with herself, and gracious to those that do not return the favor.

Are you beautiful? Not by criticizing someone else you're not. Clean off your porch before you try to clean off someone else's.

Its not just about Kelly Clarkson, its the overall perception of perfection. You can spend thousands on the most innovative makeup to achieve that level of whatever, but don't personally attack someone because its not for them.

81. I agree with the give-Kelly-a-break group. If celebs didn't let themselves relax and be free of the photogs obsession with "how are they looking" the press wouldn't have any "gawdaful" pictures of the stars to sell. Kelly, be yourself babe, we know you can glam-up whenever you want .

82. So what if Kelly is somewhat plain and far from skinny. I like how she is comfortable with who she is. Unless she is promoting an album or something else, she always looks like any regular girl. I think that is why so many can relate to her.

83. This shows that she doesn't have to have tons of makeup on her. Actually, I like her low key, natural approach in this picture. Kelly has always kept her realness intact. Someone said she looked like Kelly Osborne, but the first person that comes to my mind is Norah Jones. She is channelling Norah's low key earthiness.
