Paula Abdul's press tour to promote the new season of "American Idol" spun out of control today when she landed in the Pacific Northwest.
Paula's curious "appearance" on Seattle's Q13 FOX Morning News took a fast nose dive as the pint-sized Idol judge slurred and giggled her way through the interview.
Anchors Lily Jang and Carmen Ainsworth kept it together as Abdul bobbed and weaved for the camera.
For what it's worth, Paula's rep tells TMZ that it is "much ado about nothing." He says the station had "technical problems with the satellite and her sound was dropped not once but twice. Paula was in a small room by herself with only a cameraman. Paula was distracted and confused by the station dropping the sound. She did not know what was going on."

Neurological disease or not - she's drunk!!!. If her disease was bothering her this bad, she would have cancelled the interview.

Paula was HIGH as a kite or something. I saw this interview. Lily and Carmen are excellent news women. I watch them everyday, this has happened to them before but never like this. It was obvious that Paula was confused. There may have been technical difficulties, but it appeared like she was answering questions coming from a supreme being or someone from another planet. She giggled and goofed like she was on crank!!
Yesterday morning I saw Paula on Good Day L.A. with Steve Edwards, Jillian and Dorothy. She was acting so out of it and slurring, and goofy. She was obviously high. American Idol needs to consider who they have out there doing the publicity for the new season. It's sad, but also pathetic. She needs serious help.

Paula is on drugs. That much is apparent. She needs intervention - from her family - or from those who puportedly care fore her before she ruins what remains of her career. Rehabilitation at Betty Ford Clinic is one possible option. Otherwise she can get the John Lennon album with "cold turkey" on it and do just that, but that takes balls!.
Why on earth would any GOOD publicist put a spin on this. Its obvious. Get your PAYING CLIENT some help. She needs it.

You know...she might be f*cked up, but she makes watching a lot more interesting. Everybody likes to make fun of the drunkest person at the party.
This is not the first time she comes across drunk on TV. I remember her being "out of it" on "The Tonight SHow". & I remember on AI she seems tipsy.
She has a problem with something thats for sure. Grow up Paula. You can't party 24/7 you no longer 22
