I don't watch American Idol, don't know much about Paula other than she seems to be a loose cannon in real life...don't care either...but having seen the two or three different interviews it is obvious she is intoxicated in some fashion. I do not accept some PR flak telling me that what is right before my eyes is "technical difficulty" or "exhaustion". How is she supposed to do all that work she was bragging about if she can't do t.v. interviews for a few hours without falling prey to exhaustion. She seems absorbed by this Simon Cowell person and I would have to believe it is unrequited attention. I am insulted by this pure crap.

49. Congratulations Paula, Mission Accomplished. I'll watch "American Idol" even though it kicked off Golden Globes winner Jennifer Hudson and many other talented people as well. I have a love/hate "tv relationship" with that show because you know A. Towards the end they have some kind of finalist drama, and B. They charge you for voting even though the name of the game is making and selling CD's and music so folks...no matter what they say, your vote DOESN'T COUNT! Jennifer Hudson is proof of that...it was during that season I didn't watch and I know a lot of people who said they wouldn't watch the show because it was so much about the business and less about the real talent. Thank God there is a God because Jennifer Hudson got her just desserts tonight. Congratulations Jennifer!

52. I honestly do not think Ms. Paula was DRUNK - because liquor adds calories and coke or pills do not and we all know her past (or present) issues with weight. Also, you cannot acquire a sore throat from sitting in a chilly room anymore than you can catch a cold from going outside with wet hair. Illnesses are caused by viruses - medical 101.

53. waa waa waa....all paula does is cry about her stupid little problems. She can't cope so she either drinks or takes pills to help her along. Understandly, chronic pain is just that painful...ok, but anti-inflammatorys don't make you loopy. Besides, tons of people suffer from chronic pain Paula, and can't get injections...stop your silly whining and "oh whoa is me attitude".

Stop making excuses for your crazy behavior and seek some kind of help...surely you can afford therapy!!...Learn to deal...you have money, pay someone to teach you how...geez...and stop it already!!

54. I don't know what Paula was on, but technical difficulties was not the problem. She has been under the influence of narcotics or whatever for sometime. I also believe Paula did, in fact, have an affair with that young man (Corey, I believe) a few seasons ago. I lost all respect for her at that time. The American Idol execs should get rid of her. She would not be difficult to replace.

58. We are told so many lies by the media, who knows? She did seem somewhat silly acting and slightly high on something but she seemed focused enough to carry it off. She may have been tired and I do believe she does take some narcotics for a medical condition she suffers from. Who knows???

59. There WERE technical problems as seen in the Seattle interview where the interviewer said there were audio problems and they had to get back to Paula later on the show. Ive met Paula and I know she is a sweet, kind person. She is not what the media make her out to be. She's just quirky. She seemed really tired of the questions they were asking her which is fair enough.
