Awards Shows
Oh No They Didn't! Globes' Most Cringe-Worthy

Sometimes awards shows make us weep a little, laugh a little, or sleep a little. And then there are moments that just make us cringe, a lot.
More on TMZ.com
Last night's Golden Globes was no exception. Long after Ryan Seacrest's thoroughly wince-inducing stand-up with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Warren Beatty made us wince with a deeply awkward (and incorrect) "Borat" impression.

Best TV Comedy Actress winner, America Ferrara, positively made us gnash our soup dumplings when she exited the stage after her touching acceptance speech and waited like a glowingly expectant puppy to be interviewed by NBC's Maria Menounos. And waited. And waited. And then had to run offstage, ignored by the blathering Ms. M. Such indignity!

Then, as Prince was a no-show to accept his award for best song, Justin Timberlake waited for his Petite Purple Majesty to come and collect his trophy, then saved the cringe-worthy moment by making himself a foot shorter and accepting on Prince's behalf.

61. Maria Menounos is a catty female and a loser ,such unprofessional behaviour. She should never be allowed to interview at Hollywood events because she is so spiteful. How can you ask America Ferrera such stupid and spiteful questions,on one of her most joyous occasions? she is so tactless, whoever is her boss should make sure she never does a high profile event. Go Ferrera, America loves you.

62. Didn't anyone see the camera shot of Prince covering the camera lens with his hand soon after he didn't show up on stage to accept his award?
I never liked Prince's music when he was consided hot in the 80's and especially now.
Purple Rain sucked & he's a little egotistic weasel.

63. Maria Menounos did an absolutely terrible job. She was completely unprofessional and I couldn't believe the way she blabbered on and just ignored America Ferrera for what seemed like the longest time. That was so rude. I thought it was funny what Justin Timberlake did! Hopefully Prince has a good sense of humor!!

64. Angelina Jolie was very, very rude to Ryan Seacrest. However Ryan behaved really well considering she was a disgrace. She does not deserve the very nice person Brad Pitt appears to be.

65. Who the hell does Justin think he is for trying to mock PRINCE.When Prince was making music,he wasn't even born.I guess the press is really making him feel important. No wonder Prince didn't wanna come up there. He should mock his mates & not Legends like Prince.

66. People are critisizing Jolie for being bored. I don't blame her.The glamor of Golden Globe era has vanished and i wanna point out that she has rubbed shoulders with the very wealthy, high and mighty Africans and other high-class personalities around the world through her United Nations job,so she's not thrilled anymore with the fake life & events of celebrities here in the States.Get that right o.k? We love her

67. OK, I missed the live telecast of Seacrest/Jolie/Pitt, but unless it was drastically different then the vid clip here, I don't understand why people are ragging on AJ. It's nice to see a 30something Hollywood actress act like a woman rather than a giggly ditz like the over exposed desperate housewife Ms. Longoria and the rest of the kissy face phonies.

68. The Warren Beatty bit was the most cringeworthy, running on and on... Tom Hanks didn't help... the segment literally stopped the show... unfortunately. I wonder how many viewers took bathroom or snack breaks and didn't return?

Maria M was a disaster and should never be allowed to interview anyone again and not allowed in the GG's ever. It's a night of celebration, not angling for some kind of story, and the stars who won awards were supposed to be allowed to shine, not be embarrassed by incompetents.

Someone give egotistical Jamie Foxx the hook. What a jerk.

69. Prince has more talent than Justin could ever hope to have. Prince, please show Justin how you are ENTERTAIN at the Superbowl. Play music, sing your heart out, don't resort to ripping off the top of your fellow performer and than get all scared after you do it. Janet and Justin were grown up to pull a stunt like that but when it backfired they played the blame game and acted like scared kids who broke a window and got busted.

70. America who? This girl is so desperate to be a part of Hollywood and why I don't know. They are remind me of Hish School but with money. Angelina with her icy stares, Brad is another puppy following her around, Tom Hanks repeating the word balls, like we never heard it before, ooohhhhhhh he said "balls" (giggle giggle) big friggin deal. It got old the 2-3 time he said it, by the 5th time I wanted someone to pull his mike. And Jay-z with Beyonce, in her videos he seems bored whenshe is shaking her ass all over him but at awards ceremonys he glady tags along! He still seemed bored wtih her but talked it up with others.

71. Forgot, Jaime Fox did a movie about Ray Charles and has been in character ever since!! When the movie first came out, ever interview he did was done sitting at a piano! Then he would play some shi** and the interviewer would kiss his ass. Even now, he is such a showboat and so ugly, he looks cross eyed, he was in a movie called jarhead but the size of his dome, it should have been called JUGHEAD!

72. Let's not forget people that most of the above celebrities were probably already in their 2nd-3rd bottle of champagne. We should be grateful that they could utter a complete sentence or even attempt any bad impressions. I think that America had the best exposure as her speech was great and her walk-off botched interview (that expression on her face when she finally stopped standing there before going back for the interview) just cemented her TV Betty character and will lure more fans to the show. I wouldn't be surprised if America did it on purpose.

73. Don't y'all realize that Borat's acceptance speech was made with tongue in cheek the reason he won the award in the first place.

74. I couldn't stand Maria M on ET & I still cannot stand her! Summary: She is a brainless, talentless wonder who should go back into "modeling" or whatever it was she did before she got into bed with someone who promised to give her a career in t.v. entertainment reporting; to which obviously she is too ignorant & has her large egotistical hear stuck up her a$$ too far to be able to interview anyone without worrying about how she looks. Let's hope the powers that be read all of these comments about her & put her out on the street.

75. Does anyone think Angelina was just stepping back to give Brad the spotlight? After all the night was about him, and she was just trying to let him have his due. Everyone is so judgemental.
