Awards Shows
Oh No They Didn't! Globes' Most Cringe-Worthy

Sometimes awards shows make us weep a little, laugh a little, or sleep a little. And then there are moments that just make us cringe, a lot.
More on TMZ.com
Last night's Golden Globes was no exception. Long after Ryan Seacrest's thoroughly wince-inducing stand-up with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Warren Beatty made us wince with a deeply awkward (and incorrect) "Borat" impression.

Best TV Comedy Actress winner, America Ferrara, positively made us gnash our soup dumplings when she exited the stage after her touching acceptance speech and waited like a glowingly expectant puppy to be interviewed by NBC's Maria Menounos. And waited. And waited. And then had to run offstage, ignored by the blathering Ms. M. Such indignity!

Then, as Prince was a no-show to accept his award for best song, Justin Timberlake waited for his Petite Purple Majesty to come and collect his trophy, then saved the cringe-worthy moment by making himself a foot shorter and accepting on Prince's behalf.

91. #80....You don't know Angie or Brad...That night was about Him, not her!!! She was just being respectful, and gracefull I might add. She let him have the spot light, as she should have. Why don't you stop being so judgemental and stop trying to find bad things that aren't there!!! Try to be more possitive instead of soooooo negative....SLN

92. Prince came late and was not there at the time the award was presented. When who ever was on stage for a later award, acknowledged Prince had finally arrived and had been stuck in traffic getting there. I did not see him at all prior

93. I can't stand either Ryan or Maria. They are both such idiots (but then most of the interviewers at these things are). What I hate the most is how they try to appear all chummy with the celebrity when they are obviously not even listening to the response to their question. Seacrest is the worst of the two. He definitely has the "celebrity blow off" down to a science. I can't wait for Idol to cancel so we don't have to look at him anymore.

94. RE: Angie & Brad
I feel sorry for Brad. He's just a nice down to earth guy, trying to his best to cover up the fact that Angie looks down her nose at anyone and everyone who isn't starving or dying.

For Gods sake, this woman admitted it was hard to bond with her own daughter because she hadn't been through hardship....poor kid, she will never be as "worthy" as Mad and Z in her mother's eyes.

Pull the stick out of your butt Angie, you can be a warm human being to Americans too...

95. Red carpet has gone totally very commercial and plastic. The interviewers need to be critiqued by the organizers of these events. Some of them ask the dumbest questions, mutter unbalance comments which depicts most of their own personal character instead of being just show biz. They need to learn how to react on answers that they throw in to the celebrities that are awkward. We need to see interviewers who are at least more refine than just asking what are you wearing, whose jewelry are you wearing, how much etc... it becomes a show of a very tabloid plastic world. These interviewers get too personal when their very dull questions are not answered the way they EXPECT them answered. They make up a lot of stories, get mad of celebrities responses so that they have something to talk about to benefit their own very low way of making a living. There is very little respect left on these people towards the people that they actually make money from to make up a gossip. We hope to see a more improved red carpet interviewers in the future. Show some class with your questions. Don't just wing it, prepare for the job that you are hired to do!. Let's see how these people do at the Oscars! Make it fun for people like us who make the time to watch this event in the tube. Be a lady and a gentleman. Have a little class!

Oscar Party in my house!

97. When Angelina first stepped out on the red carpet her facial expressions were highly lacking and she was rude to everyone who interveiwed her from E to ET. Her one word comments and thoes facial expressions were to die for. Just remember Angelina it's the public who got you where you are today and it's the public that can take it away just as fast. Your behavior was rude! If you didn't want to be at the Golden Awards you should of just stayed home I'm not a fan of Angelina never will be but when your in the public eye you need to act with respect. It's time to come down a notch Angelina your high horse has fallen.

98. I am amazed at how many people expect intelligent questions and/or responses from everyone at these "award" shows. While some of these people may be intelligent, we all need to remember that they are not there for their brains!!!! We, their public, provide the money to them to be what they are, we need to accept that fact. And, if we want smart stars, we need to be more careful how we spend our money and our adoration.

99. What type of reporting are you doing? I think your comments about Angelina are horrible. I watched the Golden Globe Awards and I thought nothing of her interview with Ryan. When I saw the title of your report "Angelina Has Sudden Fall From Grace", I thought she did something really bad, but I don't get what you mean. Nothing in your article was so alarming. On the Red Carpet she was fine. I think the writer of this article is either good friends with Jennifer Anniston or Courtney Cox, but definitely an Angelina hater. By the way, I don't blame Angelina for pulling Brad away from Courtney Cox. I would have done the same thing. Courtney may have caused them problems. You have no idea what Angelina and Brad have gone through with all of this media attention. Everyone has the right to change their life and I believe she is sincere. Who gives you the right to judge? We've all got skeletons in our closet. Pick on someone else. By the way, no one but Jennifer and Brad know the real deal about their relationship. All comments about their relationship are speculation and gossip. By the way, weren't Brad and Jennifer separated when they started shooting Mr. & Mrs. Smith?

100. I didn't think what angelina said to Ryan (vapid) Seacrest was rude at all...she answered his ridiculous questions truthfully. He asked if they made bacon and eggs-which I'm sure we all wanted to know-and she said they made cereal...I probably would have said the same. These poor people are castigated in the press no matter what they say or do...

101. Angelina just acted like the primadona she thinks she is - better than everyone else. I've never liked her as an actress and always thought she was some kind of weirdo. The way she acted just solidified those feelings.

102. I attended the 64th Annual Golden Globes and sat at the red carpet and was in the lobby after the show while the actors/actresses were going to the after parties. My impression of Angelina Jolie at the red carpet was that she was either stoned, has no personality or is a total B. I saw her after the Globes in the lobby on the way to the party and she completely ignored the fans. Brad Pitt was so much more personable. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HE DOING WITH THIS B!!!

103. How long is the Golden Globes going to last? Is the only thing that happenens in Hollywood? We have seen the dresses, heard the silly interviews, and listen to the speeches. J and B looked great, and I have never heard Brad talk so much. I like the heart felt speeches. Not every body has good days

104. Prince could have been stuck in traffic like another poster said but I don't think he would have gone up anyway. He is a DEVOUT (preaches to people who go to his house, dont ask how i know) Jehovah's Witness, and isn't allowed to celebrate anything, so he might not even be "allowed" to receive an award.

I am SOOOO f***ing stoked Angelina's real personality is shining through again. She fooled so many people into thinking she miracoulously changed priorities and character when she f***ed a married Brad. Now people can see the humanitarian thing is just a distraction from the real problem, much like the war in Iraq.
Only a matter of time before Brad is sick of this self-important witch.

And how f***ing hilarious is Isaiah Washington? I mean is it possible to stick your foot further into your own mouth? Love it!

105. Give Angelina a break. IT IS OBVIOUS that she was trying to stay in the background, let this be Brad's night. They were there for HIS movie, for goodness sake. she was trying to let the attention be on him.
