I don't Beleive Paula was Drunk..She has Had a Very Diblitating Disease in the past and present and does have to take medicine for that just to walk some times..For a Few years There she was Not doing very well...She Finally Found Her a Doctor who Knew how to treat her illness,and Thank GOD she can Now Be Back to normal to a sense...So the times U see her Giddy and such I beleive it is the Medicine and Exhaustion...I don't Know about anyone else,But When I get real tired and Hurting and Bored,I get all giggly and stuff...People Just Looking to Find Something BAd in everyone...Guess No one has any Trash On there own door step.....

137. Jeez people, her lame excuses that she was confused and that two cities were talking to her in two ear pieces...we're not idiots Paula!!! I've been confused, I've been around people that are confused and that wasn't the signs of being confused, and there are more than a hand full of interviews with her like this so was she confused in all of them.
If she has a problem she's up there with a lot of regular people and celebs...so deal with it but lying about it makes you look drunk and stupid!

138. I don't think any of us would be talking about this if it weren't for the show returning. Leave her alone, she has had some well known pain issues and physical problems the last 10 years (I think that's the number), and who are the media that thinks it is alright to pass judgment or create rumor about anyone.

Paula, I know what you are going through, I am disabled and understand the physical and emotional problems that it causes.

140. Paula is Paula.
It matters not whats in her cup, Nor what medication you may think she has taken.
She does her job and does not have to answer to you, Nor me.
She has a driver to take her around. so no need to worry about drunk driving.
Also I would belive that Fox network is well aware of her actions on TV.
they seem to except it and are quite fine with it.
She along with Randy And Simon produce one hell of a show.
When you are 100% clean then perhaps you can cast a stone, untill then
get a life.
Enjoy the show and stop complaining, If its not to your like'ing then pick up the remote and move on..

143. I think if retarded people or people who obviously just don't have what it takes to be... the next American Idol come onto the show, then they are basically asking for whatever they receive. Simon was being nice, because I would have said a lot worse... I mean honestly, who would look at either of those fools on the cover of a cd and be intrigued and want to buy it? He could have had the voice of an angel, but I knew flat off he wasn't going to. It would be like Rosie O'Donnell going to a modelling audition. Risible and absurd... and oh so funny... Rosie needs to shut her fat disgusting mouth and stop being such a killjoy. This stuff is hilarious and makes money. And hey, ain't that America?

144. I really don't think Paula is drinking. She may in fact be on some type of medication, but I think her body movements, and speech are indicative of MS. A lot of folks who have MS, or any other neurological disorder are mistaken for being intoxicated....I just don't know what all the secrecy is about. If that is indeed her problem...let the public know...why allow all the speculation?

I think it is time for Paula to leave the show, I feel sorry for her and think she does not deserve criticism for taking too many pills for her pain but she should not be in the lime light where peopel can laugh at her situation the way she and the other two judges and even Ryan thoughtlessly made fun of the contestants. I can understand how it is hard not to laugh when they cannot carry a tune but to make fun of how they look is disgusting and a rotten way to make big bucks!

147. Why does everyone jump to the worst conclusions. She may have been on prescriptive meds...if so, then she had an MD prescribe them for her. If she views the tape she will probably be humiliated by what she sees...but this bashing of a great lady with a great voice is childish and not helpful to her.

148. I think Simon could tell if it was alcohol he is right next to her and I dont think he would sit by and let her get snokered. I do think she takes pills. I am on xanax and I admit some people mistake it for intoxication. I know she takes pain meds and probably xanax for nerves. She is still great for the show . Someone needs to be nice next to Simon.
