Train Wrecks
What Was in Paula's Cup?

Did Paula Abdul have a few -- or several -- to help her get through the endless agony of listening to screeching "American Idol" contestants?

Last week, the "Idol" judge appeared on FOX stations to promote the show, and there was enough slurring, giggling, and wackiness to satisfy affiliates from Alabama to Washington; a condition Paula described as being in her "own little world." Then, last night on the season premiere of "Idol," we noticed that there was plenty of attention paid to Paula and her liquid consumption, and in one exchange with her colleagues, she conspicuously weaved to and fro.

So, was Paula in her own, booze-soaked "little world" again? You decide.

151. I think Paula did have a little sum' sum' before going on.
I was watching the show with my family, and my sister openly said, "Oh my goodness, is Paula drunk or something?"
I thought she may be right, but when I heard about other people bringing up the same, I think it was alchohol that pushed Paula's behavior over the edge.

152. Everyone loves a train wreck? What kind of stupid thinking is that? Did the idiot that made that statement, there have been many, try to point the finger at everyone because deep inside he knows it is wrong and he wants to feel like others are all the same as him? Screw that concept!

Sick damn people, all of them. Young kids needing support and understanding with a vicious group of judges ripping them apart and a program that belongs in the trash.

I stopped watching this ridiculous and degrading show after the first few episodes when I figured out part of the show was to use human beings in the way they do.

Train wreck? How about a humane catastrophe? Watch what you want but if you are a human being with at least the slightest concern for other peoples feelings, turn the channel or better yet, unplug that boob tube.

The panel of judges aren’t even qualified to judge, the show looks like a spin off of Americas Funniest Home Videos, with much more emphasis on the hosts ripping at contestants. IN ATTEMPTING TO MAKE ASSES OUT OF THEIR CONTESTANTS, AMERIACAN IDOL HAS SUCCEEDED IN PORTRAYING WHAT TRUE ASSDOM IS.

153. Honestly, I don't give a damn what Paula is on (although it appears to be that she is on something) because she is still hot as all hell. I'm on pain medication for injuries sustained in a car accident, and I can say that after 2-3 years of prescription medication - I definitely don't slurr and almost fall out of my seat. So if it's pills she is on, she's either recently been put on them or they upped her dosage. Now booze - who doesn't drink? She's an adult - let her be. If the producers of the show know she's wasted and still let her continue on, then who is anyone to judge?

154. She is definitely on some kind of opiate. The clear-cut sign is when she blinks, she leaves her eyes closed for a couple seconds...she's nodding. And she drinks alot of water because of the dry mouth.

155. I think it is a sad refection on humanity. We all laugh at Paula when in truth We should just refuse to watch her. Wake up "FOX" and pull Paula from the show. She has no consideration for herself or others. It is unacceptable behavior.

156. It is all about show business. Keeping people dialed in and watching is what pays the bills. Paula seems to have the attention of so many viewers, that maybe they can't afford to take her off (regardless of her lack of professionalism). Remember, this is all about Hollywood. And Paula is definitely...Hollywood stuff.

158. I feel bad for Paula but it seems she has definitely cleaned up her act since the beginning of the show. So, obviously when the show started & she was falling off her chair - she was on something or a mix of stuff. Now, she's cool while on camera. Now you got it, girl! Do your shit after work - not during. Good luck.
