32. Being a successful actor on a sucessful T.V. show is like putting a pair of jeans on a cougar. With some luck, endurance, and some anti-septic for the scrapes it can be done. If you throw another cougar and another pair of jeans into the equation you'll get how difficult it is for minorities (African-Americans especially) to become successful in Hollywood - especially if you're not a comedian or musician. Which brings me to my point about Isaiah Washington. Maybe he was misunderstood and really said "You're a fat bat!" or "You sexy back!" Maybe he meant it as a term of endearment like, "Hey my "F"-word" word!" like African-Americans use the "N" word - and maybe he used it like every single person who was on set and asked about it said he used it - as a means to humiliate another. I hope Washington realizes how poorly his conduct is being received by his castmates and the public. Remember the crazy African American guy on Desparate Housewives that portrayed the mentally challenged son of the mysterious Applewhites on Season 2 for exposing himself to the cast? No, that's because he was replaced by another guy who had some sense and no one blinked. Just as Michael Richards tarnished the neurotic but loveable Kramer, Isaiah Washington has tarnished the noble & wise Dr. Preston Burke. The character he once portrayed is no longer there, and if Isaiah Washington doesn't dummy-up, neither will he.

34. The black guy should be fired, not for what he said to T.J., but for being an extremely bad actor. He should stick to the thug roles he often played in B-Movies.

39. Too bad people think they are such big stars they chose to air their dirty laundry in public. Shame on all of them. But they all seem to feel entitled, Look at Ripa/Clay. He only wanted to shut her up, but she drug it on and on, Trump/Rosie. These people have no class. Take a clue from the old studios, Let your people talk for you, don't open your mouth. That is what they get paid for, learn to shut up!!!!

40. I've never seen the show-but I don't need to see it to know that hatred & bigotry is ALWAYS wrong. I think Washington is the one lying-just from his facial and body language, and the fact so many people heard him say it-he is in serious denial.
In the words of Rodney King-"Can't we all just get along".
Enough already with the "F" word and the "N" word and all the other hateful words and feeling.
It starts with each and everyone of us so this whole incident is just a reminder to myself to be a better, more tolerant person-Starting NOW!

42. Washington can say whatever he wants to his low-rent homies at the local strip joint, but not while he is WORKING - on the set, doing press at the Globes. This is his work and any major employer in this country has guidelines of what you can and can't say or do. His ultimate employer is ABC. His comments create a hostile work environment and send a public message that it is okay to use the "F" word.

I hate to repeat it as it has over and over, but how do you think he's feel if someone called him a "Fat-lipped, ugly NIGGER"? Doesn't sound so good, does it?

43. There are some actors who need a monitor for their mouths. Like Washington...and Heigl should not be discussing it, it will only backfire on her.

I can't believe that these actors--who were basically unknown except for Patrick Dempsey--are not thrilled with their group success! They should take a lesson from ER and try to behave like adults instead of kids. i never even heard of any of them except Heigl and Dempsey before this show...

Patrick Dempsey has been around since he was a kid and everyone likes him and thinks he is cute...It's not his fautl the media has selected him for stardom---this is all over jealousy and envy.

and if Washington loses his job over this, who will he blame? I hope he looks in the mirror.

44. Issah denied the choking incident with Dempsey....when Dempsey called him out for calling Knight a fag....Issah.....think..that's why everyone just stood there like that in the video...if there was a caption it would read
"I can't believe this fuckin idiot is still denying what happened when we were all there"..what a liar....
