Mother Teresa did much for the world but did not critique everyone she came in contact with. Is it possible to give to "charities" and not berate her so called "peers"? 80. WTF how about all the other shows commenting on the bullshit going on the american idol.
they really have gone overboard this year and it is making alot of people stomachs turn. they have great ratings due to the fact that their isn't anything else to watch on tv. cnn show be showing more of the war and the wounded army people . I am canadian and i cannot believe how much americans go on and on how much better their country is and what they stand for . watching american idol come on. all the other countries are sitting back and laughing at what really gets your attention. at least rosie has a point of view.

that's bullshit. do you really think these people who get made fun of on the show could get in front of the three judges without any sort of prescreening to make sure they actually have musical talent? the whole show is a complete set-up from the start, to make fun of people, to tear them down from nothing, so the people watching can feel better about their own pathetic lives in a 'at least i'm not that person' sort of way.

it's pathetic, and that so many people buy into this show just demonstrates how many pathetic people we have in this country.

and if that wasn't bad enough, the people who usually end up WINNING or competing to win on american idol are nothing more than glorified karaoke singers bordering on no-talent musical hacks.

87. I am liking Rosie more and more. American Idol is awful, trashy t.v. The judges are no talent people that got really, really lucky. I love that Rosie is not politically correct. I think it is annoying to have to tip toe around the obvious joke Hollywood has become. Rosie is entertaining and even if you disagree with her, she is strong enough to voice her opinion. I LOVE IT!!!

89. I think it’s very funny that people are hanging onto every word Rosie utters and then, turn around to make a big deal out of it. If no one likes her, then how does everyone know what she said on the show that day? Why are they watching her? She's the moderator of a show called "THE VIEW" is about four women with four totally different "VIEWS" (get it now people?). Not everyone will agree with your point of VIEW but you don't get chastised for it, do you? Did everyone expect Rosie to just sit there, not participate and be quiet for an hour? Ms. Walters hired four intelligent women, whom she respects and EXPECTS them to speak their minds. I think the people who are calling her an angry lesbian really don't listen to what she has to say. I might not agree with everything she says or believes but I don't think she needs to be labeled as such. She has every right to say what she wants, when she wants, especially on a show that tells her to do just that. There are other things in the world that need your/our attention. Rosie's comments shouldn't be in the headlines every single day. I am sure there are plenty of people out in there who say and do the same exact things she has done the only difference is they are hiding behind closed doors and aren’t in the spotlight every day. And I say good for you! That is your freedom of speech hard at work, just like it should be for Rosie and the other women of "THE VIEW.”
