Brown's Will -- From Silver to Appliances

1/19/2007 12:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has obtained a copy of James Brown's will, and it reads like the will of a guy who didn't have much -- other than knickknacks.

The will, which begins by noting that Brown is also known as "The Godfather of Soul," leaves his six children "furniture, appliances, furnishings, pictures, silverware, china, glass, books, jewelry, wearing apparel, boats, automobiles, and other vehicles..."

The document, signed in 2000, does not mention how much cold hard cash the estate is worth.

Brown did not include his partner, Tomi Rae Hynie or their 5-year-old child. Hynie is expected to contest the will and could end up inheriting 1/3 of the estate.

Exactly

This supposed will does not look right

This looks like a poorly written out will
Starting from the top

He's missing a middle initial

Its vague
Usually a will is more detailed than this isnt it?
Especially by a major celebrity like JB was with all of his possessions

You might want to get that affidavit and talk with Buddy Dallas and Don Rosen as they know more about what went on
There were more witnesses as well

I heard theres an affidavit concerning the trust as well by Buddy floating around LA

I heard the judge rewrote the will which would give the family portions of the estate, which is SEPERATE from the trust

JB did NOT want the trust being handled by the family
He wanted the original creator Jacque Hollander to manage it as that was her creation with him which there is proof in do***ent and video form

Now whose going to be the one to get a copy of the real deal?
