31. Something's definitely pulling Lindsay down and I doubt it's those Anchor's on her jacket. it's more likely drugs which are symbolically a thousand times heavier than any Anchor when it comes to kicking a drug habit.

Lindsay, you've got a ton of money, though I know that by now money doesn't seem to be that big a deal, right? Well let me tell you something young lady. You have done alot with your life and you are still so young but if you don't turn around as in a complete 360 you will spend so many years fighting off addictions that you won't enjoy any of your terrific good fortune to date. Tired of hearing how lucky you are? Sure, everything gets played out in time.. but life and death are pretty much the only two things that never get played.. And you my dear are dealing with Life And Death decisions right now missy, right now in that hospital you lie in.

34. I find it crazy that people down people in AA, and dont want to be around them because they are " straight " . If you talk to the "normal people" they would tell you AA People are not to be trusted or are to stupid to get a job , or are in jail. Dont fool yourself , that hot guy - fine AND,fast talking that you met at the bar after work drinks with the girls , he asks you out . You are thrilled ,tell all your friends ,new dress bag him that night he is YOURS ! However , you start noticing little qurks, at dinner he got to drunk and almost got the waitress fired, but you think hes had hard day. Sometime later , you notice he cant go anywhere with out having a drink or two-you can drive right? You are not fighting , loud talking and being an ass. Soon he starts staing out to late , maybe you hear from him for days. Then you get a call , he has a DUI, can you come and bail him out -hell pay back come his next paycheck. He gets fired for comming in late or not at all. You ask does he think he has a problem with drinking- the same question you asked in the beginning of this relationship. This time while answering you a loud slurry NO he gives you the gift of a little backhand. You can cover that bruse when you go to work , and you have to work cause he does not. And so on and so on and on .....until you make him go away You then find out all these bitch women he left you for were not left by him they ran away!
Now , who is this drunk ? is he a "normal" guy or AA. Listen and please belive that it could be answer number 1or#2. But the guy from AA might be off the wagon, and when you can look at him with objective eye and talk about his problem and decide if you stay or go. But the thing is if he got sober all that good stuff is still there , he just needs to make the choice to have a good life or throw it all away. The one thing I have found from being on both counselor and treatment client is that person who thinks he better than , or more normal than the guy in AA is this: there comes a time when you KNOW you are out of control but you dont want to face the fact that there is something wrong with you. You need help.Or you will become homeless, jail or dead. Take your pick.

Back to this article, I have seen younger , and much older people come in to AA from time to time . I was a little surpriced to hear she has attended meetings for a year and someone gave her a 90 day sobrity chip, but she is still clubing all night
f*cking up at work ( how I would love such a lavish lifesyyle ) all she got was a write up for being late , when she should have someone - no not you, Paris- to help her . Shes not a bad kid , nor Nicole and Britt ( the vote is still out on you Paris) they just need some help.

Im not saying AA is the way to get sober for everybody, remember no matter how good the program works, we are still Humans, and we sometimes make poor choices . Whatever happens I hope someone will reach out to them, before they have a homicide/suicide siuation.

35. She must have saw that outfit on someone she thought looked cool.. She is so fake!!! She copies who ever is cool at that time. If rockers are in than all the sudden shes a rocker, if classy is in than all the sudden she is classy, if paris and brittany are in than all the sudden she wants to hang around them. She is transparent. I can see right through her. She is so fake!!!!

36. I can't believe all these people that have NO CLUE what it is like to walk in her shoes. I was raised to believe that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones... I want to know how all of you PERFECT people live with yourselves among all us normal people. I guess none of you have made a mistake or had a friend that drank too much or had a co worker using drugs... hmmmm must not live on this planet.
Give the girl a break.. at least she is trying.. be it whole heartedly or not but it is a step. Better than alot of other people I know are doing.
