Johnny Depp's decorating tastes are "From Hell."
TMZ has learned that the Oscar-nominated actor's Hollywood Hills living room features a gruesome electric chair -- with a stuffed mannequin sitting in it, perhaps like the one in this image. Talk about a "Dead Man's Chest!"
A source tells TMZ that Johnny adorned the dummy with a knit skullcap, the latest in capital punishment chic!
Sounds like "21 Jump Street" is no longer the scariest thing Depp has done.

18. Um, number one, that picture is a FAKE composite done by TMZ.com. Secondly, it is common knowledge that Johnny collects relics from his movie projects, and it is also common knowledge that Johnny has one of the chairs from Sleepy Hollow in his collection...and although it is a bit creepy looking, it is not nearly as gruesome as TMZ's fake photo makes it out to be. I mean, come on, the man has two small children who mean the world to him...do you REALLY think he would expose them to something like that??
TMZ, you really need to do your homework before posting such sensationalistic garbage, and you need to make it much clearer that the photo you posted is a mock-up and is NOT an actual photo of Johnny's living room decor. Thank you.

20. being a johnny depp admirer for so long now i know that this chair would definatly not be on display in his living room especially when he has a daughter and a son around. And if he posseses such a chair big deal!!! this just adds to his character, he is always interested in wierd and unusual things it reflects his unique personality. He is an amazing person and this is proberly some made up story which was written out of boredom, ive seen these articles all the time, if its true WHO CARES!! johnny is a great and intelligant man and thats not an opinion its a fact! i am not going to beleive it untill it come from johnny like i do when i read articles like this. If its true why should anyone be bothered! what he collects, it adds to his character.

25. Agree with "get real" I have seen Johnny grow up on TV. (long time fan) he has been through a lot in his time. He stays out of the spot light for a reason......*think* He is hard working and is very intelligent. It's not about looks, it's about what he believes in and how he chooses to express himself. I have always wondered why he left America, someone should ask him. What ever he does I know he gives 110 percent, and why a story about this, is it because you can't dig up anything else? Give the man respect he deserves. To be honest I just watch (CRY BABY) the other day....lol no matter what he chooses to do he works hard and is great!!

27. I think he left the U.S to begin a new life with the woman he loves and raise is children in a more peaceful place, a lil' anti american, so what??? I cannot say as I blame him. As for his alleged taste in art, I think it is humorus to say the least...different, and thats one of the many reasons America loves Johnny!!! I have all his movies and I hope to see many more from him, hes a great actor and entertainer.
