61. As others have said all parties involved need our prayers and compassion during this time of extreme grief. Brandy's life will never be the same, nor will that of the family who experience loss of life. "In the end only kindness matters." Hopefully we can all take the love of Jesus with us and exemplify it each day.

62. I don't understand why there is so much hatred on these boards. It was an accident. She wasn't breaking any laws. She was going the speed limit. She wasn't putting on make-up. She was talking on the phone or sending an e-mail. She wasn't drunk or high on something. Yes, she should have been more aware of what the drivers around her were doing; but, at some time, we have all gotten distracted or found ourselves daydreaming. She isn't going to serve jail time and she shouldn't. She has probably done whatever the family has asked of her.

Not too long ago, my cousin's 5 year old son was playing outside with his friends. My cousin was outside with them, and before she could reach him, he ran into the street to retrieve a basketball - as children sometimes do. A car hit him. Thankfully, he did not die and did make a speedy recovery. The woman who hit him was distraught. My family understood that it was an accident. We forgave her and tried to console her when she visited him. Accidents happen, and forgiveness leads to healing. I'm sure that the family and Brandy have spoken and tried to come to terms with what happened. They don't need your anger and hatred. They all need your prayers.

64. I feel awful for the woman that was killed and her family...but this was an accident...when it's our time to go, God will take us...it doesn't mean Brandy was at fault, she was the tool used by God...but I think when we are responsible for things like this, such as Brandy may be, this is God's way of letting us know we need to make some changes in our lives for whatever reasons, and we have to pay attention to what God is trying to tell us...but whether Brandy caused the accident or not, God was ready for that woman to come home and he took her from this life.

65. Honestly, I do not see the value of posting this here. This is clearly an accident and I am sure it is a nightmare for everyone involved. I would feel incredibly sad and guilty and would never get over it if I caused an accident like this. And gossiping about it only rubs it in the face of the victim's family. Sick.

66. yes cory and others.....this can happen to anyone and it is horrible.....but....it hasnt been said yet if there were alcohol or drugs involved if you watch the news..and also if the traffic was stopped why was she still going 65mph??????? I love and adore brandy but this can cost her alot and people need to pay attention and be more careful while driving. I feel very sorry for whats she has gone through and going to go through in the future..i has to be so devestating for her.... but think about the life that was taken and how her family and child must feel!!! what if this was your child (to all the people who are taking up) or your mother or wife....etc....you would feel completely different about the situation....its very easy to judge someone when your not involved.... i do hope everything turns out well for her and i pray for the family involved

68. I was in a fatal accident when I was 16 (1993), my best friend was killed by a drunk(who got off, and has been arrested several times since for DWI) Not a day goes by that I dont think of that accident. My thoughts and prayers are with EVERYONE involved in this horrific accident, especially the MOTHER that lost her life.

69. How much you want to bet she was on phone when she rear ended the victim.

70. I love the way they say, "...she's been INVOLVED in a fatal car crash..." She was the CAUSE of death to another human being! She obviously wasn't paying attention. She was probably on her cell phone. Just another scuzzy celebrity getting off scot-free. This is so disgusting! "Sorry about that" isn't going to bring back the lady you just killed.! Stop sugar-coating it! She killed another human being!

72. Its a very sad day that another humanbeing has lost their life in this accicent. Its a real shame that this also turned into a race war. A lot of black folks don't budge when a person of a different race is hurt, there feeling is they have been through so much hell at the hands of the real racist, the white man and nobody really cared about them. Its also funny that the real racist in mississippi will finally get his due.after many years being free..It seems as though we as a people will never get over this race crap. I hope that Brandy gets the help that she is going to need to get to the other side of this nightmare and that the family of the killed woman wil be able to find some peace and justice in their world.

73. I'm sure that if the family of the victim wanted this to be in the press when it happened, then it would have been in the press. They probably wanted to be able to grieve in private and take care of themselves one day at a time. I'm sure Brandy is very remorseful about what happened; and, she, the victim's family , and law authorities have probably settled this among themselves. That is probably why we are just not hearing about this. No one involved wanted to make this public and turn it into exactly what it has now become.

As for her getting special treatment because she is a celebrity, car accident happen everyday. People make mistakes, get distracted, and cause accidents. Sometimes, unfortunately, people die. I have never heard of anyone being sentenced to prison unless alcohol and illegal drugs were involved or unless they were racing.

Let's face it, someone in this message board will probably be in a car accident at some time during this month - possibly this week or today.

74. To all you racist blacks--if you don't want us calling you "niggers", then stop calling white people "crackers". Racism is a 2-way street, both are hurtful and derogatory. And for crying out loud, PEOPLE, LEARN TO SPELL!!
You're getting off-point of this whole story--Brandy was responsible for a fatal crash. She has left a baby motherless and destroyed a family. She wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. She should lose her license, and if she was on the phone at the time of the crash, she should not have access to any cell phones. I hope she doesn't get special treatment just because she was famous, but she probably will. That's the shame of it.

75. WOW i know brandy was so emotional...in actuality...she KILLED a person. but in this sence it's just one of those things...God was ready to take that lady. espeically if no drugs or drank was involved. but for damn sure...brandy...PAY ATTENTION TO THE F***IN RODE YO. cause if she would have hit me and i lived to say something i woulda chewed her out...even though im a fan and MOESHA NEEDS TO BE ON DVD SO I CAN BUY IT. IF she wasn't drunk or high there is no excuse...word up.
