I just want to add that it is truly tacky that the "14" slides on the "AOL" entertainment page showed nothing but pretty pictures, posses and hair doos of ms Brandy as if this was some perfect time to promote her. This poor woman just got crushed in her toyota, while miss "B" got saved by her $80,000.00+, 5,000lbs, multi airbaged bus. Perhaps "AOL" would have been better off not showing any slides at all.

78. Well said jwii, could not of said it better myself. I blame law enforcement for not having the balls to lock her up, had it been me or anyone else on this blog we would have been locked up and lost our license. Are they not people like us, just make more money, the law should be the law no matter who you are. Oh, Farrah while I don't agree with the Paris, Nicole slap on the wrist, atleast they didn't KILL someone!

79. #45, the speed limit on that stretch of freeway is 55mph.
I just realized this morning that I saw the accident- after the fact. We normally don't drive that stretch but on 12/30, we were stuck in horrible traffic. When we finally saw what caused it, well, the images stayed with me for a while. The wreckage took up the carpool lane and the two fast lanes. The car she hit was DEMOLISHED and her car was barely dented (from what I remember). I recall thinking that there was no way that anyone could have survived the crash-truly horrific.
I'm not sticking up for Brandy (I wouldn't be surprised if she was on the phone) but it's easy to get caught by surprise by a sudden slow down of traffic in that particular area. The 405 is notorious for a sudden stop or slow down in traffic, without much warning- especially if you are going through hills to get into the valley (which is where this occurred).
I feel bad for the family of the victim... and sorry for those of you who are making this tragic occurrence into a race issue. Not everything has to do with racism.

80. I can not believe that there are still a bunch of immature fools who continue to make race an issue. Whether it was Britney Spears or Brandy involved or just some unknown person I am sure it was a Accident I mean they are called ACCIDENTS unless some of you illiterate fools do not understand the definition of an accident. I've heard of many people who get into accidents and someone gets killed black people have been killed along with whites and other races. I pray for the family of the victim, and for Brandy because I know this is going to be a hard thing to deal with because it will be on her mind forever. By the way her personal life has nothing to do with it lets investigate and see what you have done in the past. Quit judging people, and the N- word should not be used we are not in the 50s or 60s these days you will get hurt for calling someone that.

Universal Blessings to the Earth's that have been caused an ill-fate from this situation...May God plant seeds of positivity upon the family who has lost an important individual to them...and to Brandy...Who has lost something and is dealing with the situation that may change her life...Stay positive...Brandy...and know that we all make mistakes...My daugther Marsacia says "are you ok"? She remembers you from Hammerstein's Cinderella". To the familiy of the mother in the accident she says "sorry". 84. Brandy is not only a singer and actress. She was a regular person before all the fame and still is. Let's not forget that. She, just like many others, was involved in a car accident. The key word ACCIDENT. Yes, it is said that the person that hits a car from behind is the responsible party.

Maybe she was not paying attention or even on the phone, true. Neither of us was in the car at the time so we don't know. Here we go, always judging each other. Turning an accident into a racial thing, how absurd, I am so tired of the non-sense. The simplest thing is turned into a racial mess, when will it end. The first thing that I said after reading about the accident was "Jah, help the child, husband, family and friends that lost there loved one and thank you for not allowing the situation to be worse." I was not even going to add a comment, but after reading the comments posted, I had to say something.

What is the problem? When did we become god? Where is the ignorance suppose to stop?

Dam the black, pink, purple, green, yellow, white, any color non-sense. We all bleed red, don't we?. We are all HUMAN BEINGS, aren't we?. Let's put our minds where our bodies are (on the same page). So we can overcome the petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations, but to our fellow men (each other) within the human community.

86. I don't dislike nor do I like brandy particularly, however. She was speeding (no accident there) and in the slow lane. To the poster who said she didn't drive off, well no, ehh, her suv drilled another car at 65mph, I'm sure it was in no condition to drive off anyplace. Most likely smashed windshield, smashed radiator and deployed airbags. Not that brandy would have left if she could have, but her vehicle was disabled, she didn't have that as an option.

If you or I had been talking on a cell phone, and/or speeding in the slow lane, we'd most likely be charged with manslaughter. Brandy shouldn't evade this because she's a celebrity.

Although she will, because so many politicians are like so many of you, supporting people who do wrong and go unpunished because you "Like the music"

Our country and society have gotten to caught up in negative talk and gossip. Let us all pray for all involved in this ordeal. It could happen to anyone of us . Let us all put ourselves in her shoes. How would we want to be treated? We must press to be positive in a negative world. Feeding on other peoples mishaps and critizing them will only lead to the same thing happening to us if we continue.
