"Grey's" Creator: Isaiah Insulted Everyone

61. I watch 'Grey's Anatomy' because I enjoy the storyline and the characters NOT because I like the actors personally nor their way of life. If all actors were fired due to their personal life behavors, an entertainment show would be a rare thing indeed. Also, it's interesting that people who use foul language here are attacking Isaiah for his language? Hmmmmm. Get a grip people!

62. Of course he's apoligetic now, what else would he do, im sure his publicist and people in his camp advised him to be up front and do all the right things now. That dosent change the fact that he insulted and belittled someone and then wasnt even truthful enough to admit he said it. he's clearly a hetero who dosent grasp the concept of diversity and inclusion. 66. An African-American woman (Rhimes) will never fire an African-American man (Washington). The higher-ups at ABC may do it themselves to let her "save face", but I doubt it. The issue is politically too racially charged for ABC to take the appropriate strong action, and Washington will get away with it. Maybe a slap on the wrist and maybe two episodes of work lost for "rehab". Wonder what that could be, a vacation in Hawaii.

72. Where is the moral cause? Women (from the womb) are being disrespected everyday being called bit$$ all day and everyday on just about every TV show. How can ABC networks have the nerve to fight over a word that refer to a person sexual perference(which is a choice). what is this world coming to?
Make no mistake i do agree with the Rhimes statement, and for the record.. i don't think he meant to be hurtful and I was dissappointed that he repeated the word.

73. I do not believe he should be fired. For Michael Richards all it took was an apology. All of a sudden Isaiah should lose his job. After all he is a working human being with a family like the rest of us. He definately deserves another chance. No one is perfect. 75. As a Black man, Washington should be especially sensitive towards individuals who face persecution in our society. He not only called T.R. a "fa**ot", but used the word again when lying publicly about his egredious display of contempt towards his fellow actor.

His apology is totally insincere because it does not stem from any inherent remorse for his own behavior. He is only sorry because he is being held publicly accountable for a remark he can no longer deny or retract, and he knows he has placed his own position in jeopardy.

Shondra Rhimes thought she could laugh off the accusation and sweep the the whole issue inder the rug, so that life could go on as if nothing happened and no one was hurt. NOT SO, SISTER! The import to a Gay man being called a fa**ot is no less outrageous than a white man calling a Black man a ni**er.
It's about time that everyone is this "land of the free where everyone is created equal" learn the that the difference between being Gay or Straight is no different than being right handed vs. left handed.
