Lohan Rolls Out Again, Rehab Residents Complain

Lindsay Lohan took yet another break from rehab on Thursday ... to rehabilitate her Mercedes. And TMZ sources say her fellow residents at the Wonderland rehab facility are annoyed that Lindsay is getting special treatment.

Lohan, who checked into rehab nine days ago, took her SL500 to Beverly Hills Mercedes for service. She also stopped by the set of her new movie, "I Know Who Killed Me." Lindsay then made one last stop -- at a grocery store -- before heading back to Wonderland rehab facility.

When she does go back, other rehab residents have groused to TMZ that Lindsay has her peeps come to pamper her -- a masseur, hairstylist, makeup artist, etc. They're also upset that Lindsay has the magic key to the front door.

This week alone, Lohan left rehab for day-trips on Monday and Wednesday as well as yesterday. On Monday, Lindsay left Wonderland for her condo. On Wednesday, TMZ spies spotted her at Newsroom Cafe having lunch with friends. And of course, yesterday's field trip.

The buzz is that as early as today, Lindsay will be back shooting her movie full time.

"This isn't the Betty Ford Clinic ... " -Lohan's Rep

Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lindsay's high-powered publicist, told TMZ, "Lindsay is 100% not getting special treatment. She's getting the same as everyone else. This isn't the Betty Ford Clinic, it's not a lockdown facility. There is personal time. All these naysayers who keep blogging and speaking out, like the 'Today' show, they don't know what she's going through, they're not there. They shouldn't speak until they've gone through something like that."

Sloane also wanted to set the record straight about Lohan's recent hospital visit: "For the record, she did have her appendix taken out."

46. Her publicist makes statements that prove that she is obviously uninformed herself. Many many of us have been exactly where Lohan is and yes, she is not only getting preferential treatment, this is not "in-patient" treatment. It is too bad that the facility is so obviously affected themselves that she is their client , that they are compromising her treatment. This is why many people don't get better and end up progressing in the disease. Her chances of getting better are almost nil in this type of situation and the odds are obviously high, that even with all of the resources available to her, she will end up in a tragic situation.

47. Linday Lohan's abilities as an actress variies from person to person, but whether or not you like or dislike her movies, she is a person who needs to quit "acting" like she was to be sober. The public is not stupid, what is the point of her being in an in-patient rehab facility, to spend most of the time running errands, going to lunch, stopping by to visit the cast of her latest movie, get her car fixed, this rehab she is doing is complete and utter BS.

Her publicist needs to advise Lindsay to exit rehab and admit she isn't ready to completely give up drugs and alcohol, though she knows this is not in her best interest, thank her "fans" for their continued support, and have her promise to slow down her clubbing, though she doesn't plan on stopping completely". I for one would respect her more for not trying to B.S. me, I wouldn't apporve of her decision but it is hers to make.

49. I wonder if Lindsay knows how many young girls look up to her. Including my twin daughters. After they heard she was using drugs, my daughters threw away her cds, and took their poster of her off the wall and threw it away. My daughters are only 10 yrs. old. She is a good actress, I have seen her movies with my daughters. But she will not have many fans left when this is over. I'm just worried about all the other kids out there that idolize her. What if their parents don't tell them the truth, or even worse if the parents don't even know. Some kids might think it's cool to be like her. I think she needs to realize her responsibility to her young fans. She needs to be a good role model. I have never heard of anyone who is in inpatient rehab just coming and going as they please. Then she has her entourage in there pampering her. That is not what happens in real life. She will never get better that way.

50. someone should tell her to save her money and just get out of that place. Obviously she doesn't want to take rehabilitation seriously.

52. Apparently, she is not serious about rehabing herself. To hell with her---one less no-talent, rich skank in the tabloids.

54. Her attempt at rehab is obviously not serious. Most reputable facilities have atleast a 30 days policy of no contact to keep the person focused on their recovery and not let the outside world add to stress. She needs to ACTUALLY put herself first, and FOCUS on her recovery unless of course this is all a publicity stunt by her PR team.

55. Rehab shrinks & other employees of the facility have no authority to ignore reasonable requests to go and come during treatment. Their job is to impart to Lohan the information, intelligence and motivations to properly evaluate and correct the behavior for which she has recognized needs correcting.

Too bad the other residents are grousing about it; jellously does rear its ugly head sometimes. Maybe Lohans attendants should dertermine if their is a way to go and come in a seriptitious manner?

56. Lindsay has never been a favorite, or someone I won't pay to see, if she is in something I would like to see then I pay for the ticket. I just don't understand all the hoopla over this girl. She obviously was not ready for fame. She began running with the tinsel town hoes as though that was something that would put her up a notch or something. Wrong!!! This rehab thing is a joke and I don't believe much will change in her life. She will continue to drink and party her way to the bottom.

57. #51 obviously you are not familiar with the purpose of rehab. The reason it is recommended that there is NO CONTACT for 30 days, is to keep the chaos at bay while the person has time to be their own center of focus without any input or distraction from outside influences.

59. It is apparent to me that this woman has yet to recognize a need for change other than just not "using." What kind of a mesage is she sending to her fellow "in-mates?" The one that this so called "Rehab" is alowing her to. Presupposing she continues on in the direction she is in, she will wind up in a "manditory" program; called JAIL. Hopefully, she does not kill someone in the intrim. Anyone else with this kind of behavior would be discharged and refered to a more approprite facility. As it stands now, she is a detrement to the other clients. Will someone PLEASE investigate the Rehab she is "sometimes" in. It is apparent this woman has no genuine sense of self. I'll Pray that she comes to that "Self";sooner than later.

60. As someone who just celebrated 15 years of sobriety on Jan. 23, I can say this for the "program": You must make sobriety your # 1 priority. If you don't, you won't ever be able to have anything else. A true addict knows this. If Lindsay is an addict she knows it deep inside and must admit it to herself and get help. The program only works if you want to stay sober more than anything else. You can't do it for your family, friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife. You MUST do it for yourself because you WANT TO more than anything else. When I was in rehab we were able to leave the facility for outings together and to attend AA meetings outside the facility. We were not allowed to leave to get our car fixed or any other reason that did not pertain to staying sober. It's Lindsay's choice and only her choice.
